“I LOVE THIS FARM WHICH CHANGES SEASONALY. RIGHT NOW STARTING IN MAY. THEY HAVE HUNDREDS OF PLANTS AT A GOOD LOW PRICE. DURING THE FALL, PUMPKINS AND VEGES. WINTER THEY DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS. IT'S NOT FAR FROM THE FERNCLIFF CEMETERY. I JUST BROUGHT 5 PLANTS AND GOING BACK FOR MORE. ENJOY.”

“I was so happy to learn that this place had opened once again. I stopped by today and bought some plants and a little rabbit from my garden and the prices were also very reasonable under new ownership. For many years this was my go-to place for plants and cute little gifts from n their gift shop. Then late last summer and fall it looked like the place was abandoned and there were property for sale signs on the fences and it was all closed up.
I thought that was it for this place. But thankfully, it seems to be re-opened again and charming as always. So, I send a big thank you to whoever took over this place. I wish you the best of luck! Thanks for bringing a special old spot back to life for us!”

“Frequent customer since 2022. Strengths are the impressive plant collection - shade-loving and sun-tolerant, shrubs, trees and annuals. Best access from the northbound sawmill River Parkway with a private entrance just north of the Hawthorne interchange. Slow down when you see the high tension powerlines and put your right blinker on to exit. there are no road signs. Rosedale maintains a true landscaping department which can undertake planting and garden management projects.
The prices can be high and access to the garden centre can be difficult on weekends at the beginning of planting seasons for instance in May.”
“This is the best Home Depot around. Not super busy and people actually help you with your questions. I recent bought Vinyl flooring and the woman was super helpful, sat us down while she checked us out. This is my goto store now even though the Nanuet store is closer.

“I can only speak for the Garden center at this Home Depot. But I always enjoy coming, even when it's a bit of a madhouse. Lots of interesting plants and possible to get great deals. I find the staff are really chill, helpful, and nice. The experience with the staff honestly really keeps me coming back rather than seeking out other places.”

“Since the reviews here are from a few years ago we weren't sure it was open, but we went yesterday and indeed it is. We spent a good long time talking with the owner. It's such a unique place. There are some unusual plants and trees, plus the more conventional stock. Since it's the end of the season, plus we've had a drought, it could look a little bedraggled to anyone looking for polished rows of plants, but to a veteran gardener it's clear what's there. Plus the owner was generous in his advice about what to plant now. He also has a passionate interest in wellness and is eager to share his knowledge about mushrooms in particular. He doesn't sell mushrooms, but it is an interest. We will definitely be going back. He does landscape design, but this is also a retail nursery.”
