I have been without heat for 3 days and there is nothing this company will do about it. I understand that this is a busy time, but when you have no heat in weather like this, you should be more of a priority. This company is not helpful and charges like crazy for any emergency deliveries. Use someone else.

If I could give them 0 stars I would, I’ve been without propane for multiple days and my dad had to call to see if they could get anyone out there for an emergency delivery but they said they don’t have anybody in the quadrant so it’s not possible. I went to my house (I had to stay with my dad cause there is no heat, no hot water, no way of cooking) and it smelled of gas so I thought maybe there was a leak so we called the number provided for a possible leak. The woman who answered gave us Saftey steps which we followed and we asked when someone could get out there. She didn’t know, shocker. Someone else called us back and said there’s no leak, it’s just because there’s no propane, so I asked again if I could get an emergency delivery. He said he couldn’t get out there because there was freezing rain and it was unsafe for him to leave his house. My delivery was ordered on 7/14, said they hoped to get it there before or on the 27th! Two weeks without heat? awful awful customer service.

We called because we smelled gas and the tanks were empty and we believed there to be a gas leak and also needed to fill the tanks because it was 10° out. They said somebody would be there in an hour to two hours maximum. I waited for over three hours and nobody showed up and then they said somebody would be there in the next 10 days and that’s the best they can do. This is completely unacceptable. Not to mention that they made us pay $540 today to get it done, only to be told it isn’t happening for over a week.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY BUSINESS!! We have been without propane for weeks and have spent thousands of dollars in advance on this service. No one communicates, no one cares what resources you need to keep warm, shower, and cook. It's a disgrace how many one-star reviews are listed over the years with the same complaint.

Have used Ferrell Gas for over 20 years and after this past winter will never use them again. I waited over a month to get propane delivered that was continuously cancelled for bogus reasons and despite numerous phone calls seeking resolution, no one ever got back to me. In searching for a new company, I discovered how overpriced Ferrell Gas is. I am just so disappointed in this company.

Love how easy and simple it is to use the automated service. We get our delivery within 5 to 6 days after placing order. Highly recommend to anyone..

Horrible company. 5 days of phonecalls asking for help and no one returned our calls until I filed a complaint with BBB. They delivered a new tank and refused to stay for the lighting of the pilot light which then would have them check pressure to make sure it is working properly. They didn't do this. The gauge read 0% and flow was too low to keep the furnace burning after they supposedly filled the tank. Go anywhere else, these people don't care about you. Our new provider went above and beyond to do his job and make sure we were happy. Ferrellgas - total losers.

Bought a house this fall with tanks leased by this company. Upon our first service call to fill the tanks for the winter, we were informed that the tanks were not placed within regulation and it was illegal to fill them (please note, they installed and placed the tanks in the first place). After 3 consecutive appointments to relocate and fill the tanks were no-shows by the technician, with no one in the office able to explain why no one showed up, our tanks were so low that we had no choice but to start a new service with a competitor. After that, it took Ferrell 2 weeks to come get their tanks off our lawn, and we're still waiting to be refunded the "rate lock fee" for a delivery that never happened.My wife wrote a review a few weeks ago, to which Ferrell asked that she email more information so they could help her. She did as they asked; they have not responded, but they have blocked her from making any further reviews or comments. This is just a terrible company with zero internal accountability or communication. Do yourself a favor and go with Ehrhart, they're fantastic!

Recently purchased a house with leased tanks from this company. When requesting my first propane fill, the technician told us they would not fill the tanks as they were in a dangerous place and against regulation. I inquired why they were placed there in the first place, and how the previous owners were getting them filled- no one can answer my question.I have requested an appointment to move and fill my tanks 3 times in the last 2 months. A technician has either come at the wrong time, not shown up, or come on a different day the appointment was scheduled for. I asked my husband to call and speak to a manager so I wouldn't be labeled as a "Karen", we have had no response from this office. The people in the office are never able to answer our questions.We have paid a $60 delivery fee and yet nothing has been delivered- our tanks are almost empty. I hope they will consider refunding us. I have called a competitor and will not be using this company moving forward. This experience has added a huge deal of stress for us as first time home owners.

Good response this year, but you were suppose to change out my gauge for $ 100.00 last year. Apparently this was not done. This was to be done because I ran out of gas, because of the gauge did not read correctly. Now I was told yesterday that the tank has to be empty for the gauge change. The Gauge was reading 8% but my tank only took approx: 128 gal to fill.

On July 18 afternoon, I tried twice to reach Ferrellgas via their published phone number. Both times I was advised with a recorded message that my call was important and I should wait for the next available agent. This message was repeated several times and then I was disconnected. Disgraceful.

I have been a Ferrellgas customer since they bought our local propane supplier a dozen years ago. I have found the service to be excellent, and their customer service department very helpful when needed. Strongly recommend them!
