I absolutely LOVE this farm because it’s so much more than a farm. It’s sustainable, organic, and has such a wide variety of crops. But it doesn’t end there. They teach those of all backgrounds and abilities farming. And...they host open community days where they bring informative speakers, artists, and subject matter experts. I can’t begin to describe my feelings of amazement from experiencing the beautifully choreographed dance that was done at different parts of the farm. Simply gorgeous! Their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) anyone can sign up for has delicious veggies every week. It comes with a recipe especially curated for that weeks fresh picked selection. I look forward to picking it up so much not just because of the healthy nutrition but because of the hugs I’m met with from the farmers. It’s why this farm is known as the “Hug Farm.” This farm has it all! Oh and I forgot to mention it’s in THE most picturesque historic state park with old castle buildings. It’s a must experience.

This farm is an oasis of fresh organic food and loving community. Their CSA program provides delicious local food in an area with very few farms. On top of that the farm itself is beautiful and definitely worth a visit on any stroll through the arboretum.

A gem of a farm tucked away in the back of The Planting Fields. I look forward to picking up my share and cutting flowers to bring home....
