I would give zero stars, perhaps even a negative number. I am exceptionally unhappy with associates response, including the "manager" or rather the whole assistant managers with vague and ridiculous claims of why they can't take care of problems. the only nice and helpful person was the store head manager...I firmly believe I have a reasonable request in expecting respect. I did point out the members watching strictly me, one member sarcastic said i have a name ...curious both name tags were unreadable to me. The lead manager has been patient and understanding...but she cannot "make" associates apologize. Any ideas how to stop blatant being stared at two people for strictly having a cart that I was unloading from a full one? FYI I am not nor have never been a shop lifter. but my treatment made me feel embarrassed and panicked. to be the only one stared down and my merchandise touched in my cart is rude. I would not shop at the Painted Post, NY Walmart, they associates are aggravating and rude when asked for help.

I check myself out at Walmart, and Walmart Painted Post is no exception. So, today I am checking out and I noticed the asparagus came up 54 cents more than the bin said it was. I question the attendant about this and am told "oh no it is 1.98, it is sold by the unit which is more than 1 lb." I weigh it at home with my calibrated kitchen scale and it weighed 15oz. It was suppose to be 1.44 a lb. I can't stand lying, if you don't know, in this case, call the produce department and ask. This type of rudeness has been going on for months there. It has gotten to the point where I go to Horseheads Walmart if I have time. Today, I was short on time.

If you plan to get your car an oil change at this location, I would strongly suggest taking it somewhere else. We had an oil change done tonight out of convenience for us. We left with an oil change and no brakes. Walmart employee denies that they had anything to do with it. However, the brakes worked just fine before we got there. They refuse to do anything or own up to their mistake. Said "it couldn't have been them because they don't do anything with brakes and it must have came in like that." I assure you that we did not drive it there with zero brakes. Worst customer service and lost any further business from us and our family.

Well what's more to write about a Walmart? Perhaps a bit if you are used to NJ (urbanish) walmart service and then walk into a rather ruralish Walmart. On a road trip a headlamp in our car decided to quit so we went in to Walmart for a quick replacement. Absolutely the best service from registration to the person who fixed the lamps. In and out witout fuss and overcharging. Loved it!

Maybe I'm not seeing something the other reviewers saw, but the times I have been here so far the selection, prices, and service is great. I have been to a few other Walmarts, but this one is larger and has a better variety. The staff doesn't act like you are putting them out if you need something. I would much rather go here than some of the other locations.

I don't care for WalMart in general, so I'm biased. This is the saddest, bleakest Walmart. Little signage and visuals. Attaching photos of the gross bathrooms. (This isn't a one-time thing; they are perpetually stained like this.) They also don't seem to have the variety of items of the one in Mansfield, PA

Right off Rt 17, near Jellybean Cafe, this large Walmart sits back from the road. I've popped in a few times looking for various things. Like all Walmarts it's large. Not as busy as some get in larger metropolitan areas. It can be a little disorganized by the end of the day, which is usually when I'm passing by. A-OK 67/R-a-D Challenge

Very friendly cashiers and staff that's always able and willing to help. I can certainly understand a lot of other reviews about employee attitudes but to be fair the place is always packed and mostly filled with the worst of life. I always said Wal-Mart will make you lose your faith in humanity. Not the store just the customers

The TLE manager (Ron) at the Walmart in Painted Post, NY needs to go. A while back, I had a low pressure tire sensor going off in my car so I thought I had a flat and took it to this Walmart. TLE manager Ron, explained it was a bent rim and I would need to purchase a new one. I ordered it and was told I would be called when it came in. When it came in, I went to the store to have it installed. They told me it would be about a 1 and a half hour wait...so I was wandering around the store. After about an hour and 15 minutes, they called my name over the intercom system. I went back to the TLE thinking my car was done. Ron, the TLE manager, told me that the warehouse had sent the wrong rim. I said "WHAT??!!??" How did you guys NOT know that before you even called me...besides the fact that I have been waiting around all this time! He then tells me that they don't open the box to check the contents until its actually getting installed (bad business practice!!!). He explains that he will have to reorder it and "hope" (his word) that the warehouse doesn't send the wrong rim again. I tell him that I decided to put 2 new tires on as well (because he had said they were getting low tread) and asked him to check the price for me. He sent someone out to verify the size of the tires then looked them up in the computer and gave me a price. I said so I want to have 2 installed on the front when the correct rim comes in. He says "no problem, we have them". Several days go by, they finally call me to tell me the rim has arrived. I asked them to verify that it was the correct one....they tell me I have to come in for them to check....I said no, you guys already didn't do your jobs once...I think you guys can manage to open a box without me being there. They verify its the right rim this time and I went to the store to have it installed along with the two tires that RON had already verified were in stock. When I arrived, I paid for the rim and reminded them I wanted the two tires installed as well. Ron had left for the day but there was a very nice woman working behind the counter. She looked up the tires and said...."Ma'am...we dont even carry that size tire in this store..." I said "excuse me??!!??". She says I will have to order them and wait for them to come in. I explain thay RON (her boss) had already looked them up previously and said they had them in stock....An employee who had been there that day admitted that Ron had told me they carried the tire.... Sooooo...they called him. He insisted that he had NEVER told me that they had the tires there and denied that I had asked him to check on prices...the woman employee then told him that my conversation with him had already been verified with the other employee working with her...then he changed his story, claimed to have been "confused", apologized and offered to comp me the 2 tires for the misunderstanding. There was no misunderstanding. He LIED! Fast forward to yesterday, I went for an oil change and to have to tires installed (that I ordered online). I came out and got into my car to find that things had been moved around and there was a part....that looked like it may have come off my car, lying on the passenger seat. Ron said he had "no clue" what it was or how it got there and speculated that it fell out of one of the guys pockets that was working on my car (cause it makes sense they would have been in my passenger seat to do an oil change and install 2 tires). This morning, I noticed that 2 of my hub-caps are broken....they weren't when I took it in. I call Ron...he says he will have to watch the video but he "doubts" they were broken in his store. I explained that they weren't broken before...otherwise they would have SHOWN ME before they worked on the car....! He then tells me that he has "spoken to his manager about me" and I am not welcome back in his store. Nice to see how Walmart treats their customers when their employees damage vehicles ....and DONT WO

It's true, they have a little bit of everything for very reasonable prices. However, it's very difficult to maneuver around there with a shopping cart - there is not enough room in the aisles. Most of the other shoppers are rude and have no manners - everyone is out for themselves. The Horseheads Walmart is better for shopping (wider aisles). The auto department is a nightmare, seem to always be short staffed, and not the friendliest people - will never use that department again. The cashiers are usually pretty friendly, however there is no consistency in the level of customer service or friendliness overall. Deli department workers can be challenging to deal with. TAKE YOUR CART BACK TO THE CART HOLDER!! There are ALWAYS errant carts strewn everywhere in the parking lot. Shoppers can walk 1.5 miles pushing a cart around he store, but are too lazy to walk it 30 feet back to the cart holder in the parking lot after loading their car. Management needs to pay more attention to having someone constantly prowling the parking lot for miscellaneous carts left all over the place. Usually I see one that has rolled into someone's car. You never (or very) rarely see carts sitting all over the place at Wegmans. I avoid Walmart as much as I can, as the experience and majority of other shoppers are very frustrating. Pros: have a little of everything at reasonable prices, for "one stop shopping" Cons: cramped store, rude shoppers, not customer service oriented, carts strewn all over the parking lot, low quality auto department, cramped narrow checkout aisles, and the list goes on...

Cashier was nice, horrible management and customer service. We went to buy a keurig and they had a model of one on the shelf with the price right next to it, but when we got up to the register it rang up for the wrong price, manager came up and I even walked back and showed her, she shrugged her shoulders said it must have gotten set up in the wrong spot. Didn't offer to even honor the price nor did she even move it off the shelf or move the price tag. What a joke any other store would have honored the price tag that the model was showing, and moved the model so there was no confusion.

Its an older Walmart super center. Located in a plaza with Home Depot, Tractor supply, Applebees. and other stores. The isles are crowded and it is a older. Alot of the new Walmart you can fit foir carts in an isle. Not this one it also has an less than pleasant tone in the store. Yet if you live close and need something its there 24/7. I much prefer to go across the river to Wegmans!
