“Excellent fast service. I dropped in last week around 4:00 p.m. I was taken within minutes and was in and out within less than 40 minutes. They do not try to upsell you. They are very honest and have very reasonable prices. I had an oil change done. I asked them to check my wiper blades; they said they were good and did not try to upsell me. I also asked them to check my tires and they said they were in great shape for the winter...again did not try to upsell me as they also sell tires there. So overall very honest with quick service and a very reasonably priced oil change. I will be back.”
“Wolfie really saved our butts after my husband did something kinda dumb to our RV. There were absolutely no other mechanics available nor Tow trucks that were able to pick up our class C RV to get it to his shop but he knew a guy and got us in contact with him and was so helpful and communicative with us. “Jeff has been servicing my cars for a solid decade now, and I can tell you with 100% confidence that you won’t find a better, more honest mechanic in the Hudson Valley. I had been burned by a half dozen mechanics before begrudgingly taking my father’s advice to see his mechanic — I should have listened sooner, but I’m a stubborn daughter.
Ever since I came to my senses, I’ve been sending friends and strangers to Jeff; people new in town, people that have wanted to break up with their previous mechanics etc. Everybody is happy with Jeff, not only because he’s fair (I swear, sometimes he’s even more than fair but I won’t complain about that ?) and skilled at what he does, but he’s also just a good guy! It’s refreshing, as a woman who doesn’t know much about cars to deal with someone friendly and not sleazy. I never feel like I’m getting the run around from Jeff.
A word of warning: Jeff is nearly impossible to get on the phone, but don’t let that discourage you! I almost always have to drive to the shop to talk to him or schedule a service appointment, but I’d drive across state lines to bring my car to Jeff if I had to. I see it as a sign of a good mechanic — being too busy working on cars to answer the phone means this guy is doing something right! Regardless of how busy Jeff is, he always fits me in in a timely manner, and on the occasions that I’ve needed my car back in working order he always gets me back to rolling on four wheels quickly.
Five stars all the way, I cannot recommend Import Enterprise enough!!”

“Very nice owner, excellent service!I was on a family outing with my dad, daughter, and two large dogs. We picked up a 7/16" lag bolt in the tire and had to stop in Tannersville.No spare of course, two cans of fix-a-flat only made a mess (seals 1/4" holes my a$$, it didn't even try to seal around the lag), ended up leaving the van in Legg's parking lot, and getting a friend to drive 1.5 hours each way to pick us up.Went back the next day, luckily the shop was open, and the owner immediately plugged my tire, had me on my way, and only asked for $10. In my situation, he could have easily asked for $75, not brought me right in, etc., but being a decent and honest person didn't take advantage of the situation.He also offered advice on the road hazard warranty that I was unaware came with the tires, and genuinely is very knowledgeable in auto repair (we talked vehicles while he was repairing the tire).VERY highly recommended!!!!”
