Exhausting trying to get prescriptions from this location. This is the 3rd time we have had to call our Doctor to switch pharmacies because the pharmacy unexpectedly closed.
Zero notification. No courtesy call. Just closes for the day and without a Pharmacist on duty, they cannot issue medications.
These medications have never been “routine”; they are antibiotics called in the same day and needed to be administered the same day to get my kids better.
Definitely switching to Wegmans. Too bad because this location is so convenient.

This pharmacy is the worst, with a rude and quick to answer pharmacist that couldn't be bothered to help my wife. This IS THE REASON that we don't have this Walgreens as our main pharmacy. We'd rather have CVS; they are friendly and knowledgeable.

Worst place ever ..all prescriptions BUT my one pain medication are filled without issue. Pain medication was a week later than due date and only filled then because I called to see what hold up was. obviously a pharmacist there feels the need to play doctor and regulate some medications. Not a problem, other pharmacies. 3 times and no more

I switched here during the medication shortage because it was the only place who seemed to have my adhd meds. My Dr switched my meds 2 months ago which was a mutual decision. He put in a 90 day script to this pharmacy. He always puts it in generic. I got the notification at 9:20 am the day I needed to pick it up as I was on my last dose. 2 hrs later I got no notification about it being filled or even out of stock. I called the pharmacy to get told my Dr ordered name brand and needed to re-send as generic even though I know there are laws in place to allow the pharmacist to do this. I called my Dr's office and it was sent again as generic. Then I called again after getting no notification of it being filled and they claimed the generic was out of stock which was something the young lady FAILED to tell me earlier. EVERY OTHER PHARMACY TELLS ME IF MY MEDS ARE OUT OF STOCK AHEAD OF TIME. This isn't my first time having issues with this pharmacy but this was the last straw that caused me to write this negative review. These people are liars when it's convenient for them and they don't warn people of shortages like every other pharmacy I've gone to. I will change this review once they improve their customer service and gain knowledge of pharmaceutical laws.

I have had nothing but issues with this pharmacy. I take a medication that is extremely important to my health and I can not go without it. This pharmacy multiple times has canceled my prescription without notifying me or being able to give me a reason. My doctor would call it in again and magically they would fill it. Multiple times I have gone to pick up my prescription and they would break for lunch an hour before their sign says they’re scheduled to. I have called to make sure my prescription is ready, I tell them I’ll be there in 5 minutes and they say okay. I’m there 5 minutes later and they’re breaking for lunch 45 minutes early. I have called on a separate occasion and they says my prescription is ready, I go to pick it up during pharmacy hours and the pharmacy is closed due to the pharmacist leaving for the day early. I seriously do not understand why I can’t get a simple phone call if they know I’m on my way and they know I can’t miss my medication times. Which I know they can do this because a couple months ago I called to see if my med was ready, they said yes. Then I got a call about an hour later from a tech. She was calling to tell me they were closing early for the day and told me when to get my prescription by. Today was the last straw for me as my doctor yet again called in my prescription yesterday, I called to see if it was ready or being filled. They are not open yet so the automated message system says they don’t have a record of a prescription being called in. I logged into my Walgreens online account and yet again my prescription was canceled without notifying me! I took my last dose today which they know as I’m not aloud to pick up my new medication until the day I take my last dose. I could go on and on about situations I’ve had with this pharmacy. I also have severe allergies and need an EpiPen. My doctor has called them in, I get told they need to order it as it’s not in stock. I am understanding and wait over a week. Then I check my online account and yet again it’s CANCELED WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. My doctor calls it in again and conveniently they have it ready THE NEXT DAY! I work in health care and I very much understand limited staffing, insurance issues, medications being out of stock, and other things that can happen. But honestly after there has been multiple ongoing/different issues I’m just done with this pharmacy.

It's convenient and the pharmacist is good at giving shots. Other than that, the pharmacy techs are nice and helpful. Would totally go back. Minus one star because they don't stock lime flavored Smart water.

I am not sure the deal with all of the low star ratings for the pharmacy because I have had nothing but good luck with this pharmacy!

When they don’t know answer to a question, they tell you that they will call you back but never do. Most incompetent pharmacists work here, unfortunately!

Used to be rite aid. Nothing has changed. It's literally just your typical drug store. Big and bright with the normal things any drug store has. Not usually very busy.

The rating I give this Walgreens in Palmyra New York is based on the performance of the pharmacys inability to not fill the prescription when it is called in. Example, i went to doctors and had them sent the script to the pharmacy at 9:09am . I told them to double check that it was sent,because it is never filled when i get there. They went back in a checked and repeated the 9:09am time. (They did however also complain that it has been a problem, with this pharmacy.)I arrived at 10:20am and the pharmacy says they have just now recieved it. I said how did you just receive it when it was sent to you at 9:09am. She said it will be about 10 minutes. No explanations. She seemed shocked i knew what time it was sent. I do not ever have this issue at any other pharmacy!!!!!

Called in with a pharmacy question. Long phone hold times and most curt answers. It's almost like I was being told 'no' before I even asked the question. Zero level of friendliness. Not willing to accommodate for even the simplest of requests (though based on them talking over me on the phone, I'm not sure they even heard the question). No worries ... there are other places to go.
