This family dollar recently fired a bunch of employees that were undesirable to be nice about it 😂. They are hiring and have a bunch of new employees. Tyleke Kim Danielle all gone. I hope these new employees are professional and don't allow people to hang out in the store. Which was a big issue this past winter. Great store for us customers and no family dollar ain't closing. Would they have such a huge inventory and would they be hiring if they were . I think those that say they are closing are just people who got fired haha..

Family Dollar has great prices on paper products and cleaning supplies...also toothpastes and OTC meds. I always go there to supplement my big supermarket shopping and save alot. The folks who work there have been really nice and courteous

Decent store. The older woman with the glasses was rude for no reason over not pressing a bell. Yes she’s the only person there but no reason to be mean at 830 in the morning.

A great local store in a very safe village. New items arriving daily. And they take shoplifting very serious here if you steal they will ban you and call the cops be warned. The employees are very nice and the last few months they have had a lot of workers which is rare for family dollar ? shop local we depend on each other. Every time you order off the Internet you could of spent that money at a local store.

I file a complaint with corporate and Better Business Bureau regarding the Family Dollar store located at 150 Main Street in Patchogue, NY 11772. The employee with the black beard treated me as though I was gum underneath his shoes.Acknowledge where I am coming from. I have enjoyed shopping at Family Dollar in Patchogue for many years. It was the place where I saved money for myself and my family. It seems that the Patchogue family was shorthanded on employees.There was only one Cashier and no one else was on the floor. I proceeded to the back of the store and found a customer service representative. I'm not sure if he was a manager or supervisor, but he was in the back room with the door closed. He has a black beard and I said excuse me, and then the door opened. I let him know that the cashier needs help. There are already 10 people in line and I will be the 11th person. There are no other people on the floor. Would it be possible for you to lend a hand? He replied that there is only one register and slammed the door in my face. In all honesty, I have never experienced a customer experience like this before in my life. Family Dollar customer service representatives are typically kind, courteous, and warm. Not in this case. I was in the establishment Saturday, October 21, at 1:45 PM, and it wasn't the cashier's fault that I had to wait 30 minutes in line to check out. The lack of name plates on the customer service representatives made it more difficult. If Family Dollar wondering why there numbers have changed and why they are losing money, it's because of the way customers are being treated when they enter establishment.

Great store I go often I live in Bayport but I'm always around the Patchogue area. However the employees here are not very observant every day I see empty Tylenol boxes wallet boxes empty. Mouth wash bottles opened and you can tell someone took some mouthwash out. It's like I'll see this on Monday go back Friday and on Friday I tell the employees ? I wonder if I didn't point it out how long would be their. Shoplifting should always be taken seriously this isn't California we don't tolerate that in NY.

Updated for the spring this family dollar in Patchogue gets new items daily very well stocked and is practical for every day shopping. Plus the employees are very helpful love the selection and look forward to going daily.

Sign says open 8am get there 9:30 still not open. Went to another location...plenty of other options around.
