For starters, this is my local store. And they have some great employees and sales. My 2 main issues and concerns have nothing to do with either. On multiple visits I've encountered mice on several occasions. They don't even seem afraid of people(which says a lot). Them being in the store speaks to a larger issue. This alone has given me pause to ever come back. And it's hard to find the items on sale past Thursday without having a circular in hand. Almost like they take the sale stickers down early. Lastly I have noticed some attitude on a few of the employees. But I have no idea what they are dealing with. A positive happy team starts at the top.

There are mice running around this store and chewing through packages!! It is so disgusting and unsanitary!! Something needs to be done!

The store has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. Did an online order pick up and they substituted a few items, but all of those items were left out of the order when I picked it up. We realized it when we got home upon checking the order. Called the store and the online order department wasn’t picking up, even though they were still open, so we called Customer Service and told them that that department was not picking up and what do they do? They transfer us to that very department, knowing that they weren’t picking up. We called back and rather than Picking up the phone at Customer Service, now that they saw our number calling, they just transferred to the other department without even saying anything. We called repeatedly without having a person pick up. I had to make my number private to get them to pick up the phone and asked for a manager who was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to in my life. The guy told me I had to wait until the morning for the manager of that online order Dept to help me. I explained that it was all probably in one single bag that was left back there on accident and he was annoyed and sounded like he didn’t want to be bothered. But why should I have to wait till tomorrow? Why should I have to come back a third time for something that should’ve been there the first time? Finally he says “yeah, meet you back there,” and just hangs up the phone on me. Fortunately, there was a very nice young lady working in that department when I arrived, and she was able to help me out. The manager walked into the back, saw me, saw the woman helping, and rather than say ‘hi sorry about the inconvenience,’ he turns around and walks away mumbling something under his breath to the young lady who worked in the online order department. He was extremely unprofessional and not worthy of being in Customer Service. I’d love to speak to this gentleman to give him a piece of my mind. Feel free to call buddy, would love to chat

Went there twice in the last two weeks. Both times I saw MICE!!! I’m tempted to call health services on this place it is disgusting. I noticed some bread on the selves were chewed through. I talked to a worker about it she said she will go get a manager I sat there and waited no one came so I left and did shopping at meat farms instead.

Rude employees and manager, can’t talk to them or ask for help without getting an attitude. If you don’t like your job don’t take it out on outside workers or customers.

This store has RATS!!! Do not buy food at this store. It’s disgusting, and the managers and owners all know and do nothing about it.

When I go shopping personally I choose shop rite. Their prices are the best and they have a broader selection of products. I am lucky enough to live by the Patchogue store. They do an awesome job at filling the products and making sure it's priced correctly. The employees are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend next time you shop you check out shop rite of Patchogue.

I love this store! Really well ran and always clean. The employees are always so pleasant and helpful. Special thanks to Gustavo in seafood and Scott with the fried chicken. Those guys act like they genuinely appreciate my business!!!

My husband went in on June 5th around 8/9 pm to grab a few beer, while grabbing what he needed.. one of the managers decided to put her hands on him and make him feel completely uncomfortable. As he’s standing there online, the manager walks by him, pokes at him with her pointer finger and proceeds to go “That’s not the right shirt.” Insinuating he was an employee in the wrong uniform. Y’all he was wearing, a plain red tee, some basketball shorts and crocs.
The manager then proceeded to walk around the the register next to the cashier and even looked at my husband seeing he in fact was not an employee. Did she apologize for making a mistake? No. Did she apologize for putting her hands on him? Nope.
Shop rite, fix your employees and their attitudes.

I just wanted to say thank you to the Shoprite of Patchogue, I'm transgender and I was going through a very difficult period of my life when I joined their team as a casher. While I never fully came out to the team before I left they were always fully supportive of any gender expression there. You might remember me, I had purple hair, was nervous and quiet. For a while, I've wanted to say thank you to the team there for always looking out for me, this is a store that does look out for it's employees and is a place where I felt welcome. Best of luck to everyone.

I have been getting home delivery for the last 3 years from ShopRite in Patchogue. Before I moved to Sayville I was getting delivery from the Bayshore store. The website is easy to navigate. You can suggest substitute items when ordering, whets a plus. The home shoppers are always courteous and helpful, I have never been disappointed with any delivery. Customer service has always been helpful when I have a question, etc. I highly recommend ShopRite from Home to anyone who is unable to drive or shop in the store.
