Granted that this is on the Thruway but I honestly expected with the traffic and volume that the food would at least be hot, fresh and tasty. It was hot only due to sitting under heat lamps way too long.

Stopped here on a road trip. Ordered a chicken sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. The customer in front of me started talking to one clerk but she walked away and he turned and asked me, do you think she knew I was talking to her. I said yes as she was looking right at him, but she never came back. Another younger woman came over and was very pleasant and helped him and then me. I felt prices were as expected on the highway. Unfortunately my sandwich was the saltiest thing I have ever had. I do like salted foods but this was rough. Mac and cheese was good though.

Outside the rest stop, they have these little "dog spot" areas, which is a lil air conditioned "house" for your dog to stay in while you can go in and get food, use the bathroom, etc. They were supposedly self-sanitizing as well! My family did not have our dog with us, but if we did, we would definitely use that. You can pay with credit card and it is $0.30 per minute. Very cute, and I bet many people are grateful for those. Bathrooms were generally clean. However, the Starbucks here was not very good. I visited on a Sunday around 9am. I asked for my regular order, which is a grande Iced blonde vanilla latte with soy milk. Yes, it is somewhat complicated, but I have gotten it at other Starbucks stores and I have received what I ordered. However, at this location I didnt receive what I asked for. Instead, I got a grande iced vanilla latte (correct) with "sub soy milk" (?) And "esp double". Maybe they were out of the blonde lattes, or esp double is another way of writing it (?), but it did not taste the way it should. Also, the "sub soy milk" (I think) means that they put the soy milk at the bottom, so it has that cool gradient look, but I did not ask for that. I wanted the soy milk mixed i n t o the latte, like regular milk. It looks cool the way they gave it to me, but I didn't get to taste the soy milk until I was about halfway through my beverage. I tried stirring my drink, but the soy milk still did not mix in. My coffee cake also had 2 or 3 "chunks" (kind of) of brown sugar in the middle. The sugar-cinnamon was just very condensed, and when I bit into it, I thought there was a nut in my coffee cake. I realized upon further inspection that it was just a clump :/. I got a chocolate cake pop for my brother, which he says was good, however. Wait was not that long however. My dad got a regular coffee, which was fine, but it's very hard to mess that up.

My wife and I stopped here today 6/17/2019 on our way home to Rochester, NY. She hadn't had Roy Roger's since she was a kid. I went along with this idea. I ordered the Texas Pete Spicy Chicken sandwich and she ordered a large roast beef with cheese. I had a regular baked beans and she had a regular coleslaw. I asked her, how was the coleslaw? She replied, "it tastes funny." So she looked at me bottom of the cup and it was dated 6/11/2019. She returned the product and we told the Manager as we left unsatisfied, as the Chicken Sandwich was over cooked and dry. For the amount of money they change for old dried out food is ridiculous. There's no concern for dates on food, and honestly all of those restaurant's should be closed down. You'd be safer with a Chick-fil-A, or Taco Bell. $26.67 for a nasty lunch that could've put my wife in the Hospital. Which would've costed us allot more. It's too bad you have to choose a Star to write a review as this restaurant doesn't even deserve any Stars. Try at your Own Risk.

What can you say about a restaurant located in a travel plaza. You kind of hope for the best and hope you aren't ripped off price-wise. Well this play was okay as such a plaza restaurant. Got a couple of roast beef sandwiches, a tossed salad (premade in a cooler) and something to drink. Hey, its fast food. The roast beef sandwiches tasted pretty good and the salad was filling, even if premade. As fast food places go, especially in a travel plaza on a toll road, not bad.

This is the worst food I have ever had. I went to place my order and was told to grab it from a pre-made rack. I was then asked to slide down to a cashier that was not there. I waited and the cashier went around to the register behind me where she told me she could help me over here. I had to gather my food and take it to a different register. The cashier experience began there where after she completed the transaction and I started to walk away she began to curse and complain to the other staff about no one telling her that there was a customer. She was cussing up a storm. A very bad experience. I left and began to eat and the food was really old. It was terrible. When Roy Rogers food is fresh it is really good. Stop preparing food in advance. Maybe you should add an app where people can order ahead if customers are in that much of a hurry. The thruway really needs to improve the food selection along it.

A good travel plaza with plenty of options for food, drinks and snacks. Not to mention plenty of room in the restrooms to accommodate plenty of visitors. I liked that they had a farmers market outside of the plaza. Everything was neat and clean with plenty of parking.
