My husband went early to ask questions about after hours pickup as we have never done that before and possibly arrange to pick up van earlier. The office had an open sign, door was locked and the man was yelling he was on the phone (it was pouring rain btw). Finally opened door, wouldn’t let him in, rushed the question, told him he could find his answers online. Came home, called haul and got info. Went at 5 to pickup van. There was no wifi in the lot. Could not access website, or app. Talked to 10+ agents waiting on hold for each. Got nowhere. The man earlier left as we were on the phone in the parking lot and didn’t offer to help, didn’t ask if we needed anything. Nothing. After being there almost an hour and an half getting nowhere. We ended up calling a haul rental in Brewster that was officially closed but were willing to stay the 15 minutes it took to drive there. Don’t go to Rooney Motors for ANYTHING- highly recommend 1675 NY 22, Brewster NY. It’s a gas station with UHaul rentals. I’ve been to Rooney two other times in the past , once for a uhaul during open hours and got the same rude, on the phone, can’t be bothered attitude and once to ask questions about a vintage car for sale. Same treatment. No idea how this place stays in business.

Terrible experience with this U-Haul location. They cancelled my reservation on the day of pick up without informing me. When I arrived to pick up the truck the location was locked and no one was there but the sign said that they were open. I called numerous times and received no answer from them. I will never book at this location again.

Worst customer service ever, the man behind the desk very rude and yells at customers at the same time he is reminding you that he is to busy and doesn’t have time for you. He keeps telling you hurry up, I don’t have time to listen to you. Worst ever…

Worst costumer service ever. Very rude not professional they will rip you off on everything cars uhal etc. Be aware before going here
