My band played there this past Friday. The owner was less than honest putting it mildly. This was the third time we have played there and probably the last. We are a Black Sabbath tribute band. Played 4 hours and he gave us a measly 200 bucks at the end of the show. The people/customers and bartenders were great. We were charged for drinks we did not consume during the day, not a huge deal, but none of us drank 4 Jack Daniels cocktails. Two of the four of us don't drink liquor at all and the singer and I had a few beers between us. The bar bill was 65 dollars which of course came off our pay. It should have been about 25 dollars. We traveled 50 miles each way to play there. We won't do that again. Unless you're a Grateful Dead tribute band, stay away. We will play in the area again but not at Parkside. Three gigs and we got paid less than minimum wage each time. The guy at the door earned more than us, and that was relayed to me by the owner as he gave us our pittance of 50 dollars each. Shameful...Thank God for the generosity of one or two individuals who tipped up graciously. It was a total waste of time for us. We should have stayed home and watched football!!

Please get a new bartender. I've never been so disrespected by someone in the service industry more than this woman. She is rude to the customers and has a terrible attitude problem. I wish I could give this place less than a 1.

I always have great time here when the music is playing. Every band that plays here is fantastic and all the days the Grateful Dead bands play is always a spiritual experience. Josh's Kitchen in the back is some of the most amazing food you will ever eat in a bar. ?The secret needs to be let out. Get there and enjoy. Say hi to the owner Jon if he is there. A wonderful guy.

I didn't eat (but it looked and smelled good). We caught Her Angels in Flame playing (excellent show) and the sound and visual was great. Service at the bar was a bit slow but it was busy and crowd was all good vibes.

This place could be a lot better with different staff. The bartenders are very rude and total morons. The blonde lady with the glasses is nasty as hell. When I was here last weekend, a different lady who was serving gave my debit card back to the wrong person at the end of the night. She insisted I hadn't gave her a card at all until I showed her my bank app which showed charges. Then she said "oh I must have given it to the other guy accidentally"No apology, no sense of remorse. She just walked away and didn't come back. F this place.

Not the usual pub fare. The home made soup was creamy and was packed with shrimp. I ordered Buffalo Style chicken wings. They were nice and hot per my request. Sorry I ordered them though as I could have those anywhere. I wish I ordered a special off of the menu, Definitely going back.

The Parkside Tavern in Pearl River is a friendly local bar that offers live music, pool tables and a kitchen that has a decent selection of bar food. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are attentive. The times I’ve been there - for music- the cover charge is low, making it a great option for a fun night out. There is no dedicated parking for this bar, but on the street parking is always easy to find.2 recommendations for the management: First- move the smoking section away from right in front of your door. Big turn off to walk in and out of that. Second- offer a water station. I spent plenty at the bar, I shouldn’t have had to buy a bottle of water.

Come for the grate bands and staff! Music, dance and grub! Josh’s Kitchen (inside Parkside) offers amazing daily specials and their everyday menu has delicious tacos and empanadas, plus amazing takes on bar and grill classics like wings, burgers and pizza. Seriously yum!
