This is a favorite winery of my wife and I. Nice and comfortable grounds, good selection of wines, friendly staff. Got a bag of corks we used for decoration when they were cleaning up and the bartender asked if we wanted them instead of them just throwing out the corks. Also went to a dinner they host in their vineyard with the wine master, and a bunch of the staff. Most of the food was sourced from local farms. It was a very cool experience.

Great aged reds. Tom (winemaker) and Jeff (tasting host superior) spent time with us explaining the wine making process and explaining the varietals. Highly recommended people and wines!

The Lenzy WineryI had a very good experience at this vineyardInger was our serverShe was knowledgeable, pleasantShe presented each wine with patience and gave us the background of each wine before we tasted.I had the Grand flight TastingPaired with a delicious Grafton Truffle Cheddar cheese accompanied with Italian sea salt cracker wafers by La Panzanella.Out of the 5 wines tasted my favorite from the lot was the Chardonnay 2015 which costs $30 a bottle.I recommend this winery The atmospheres was lovely and we were lucky to have sunny weather.

Lenz is a beautiful vineyard, with a great vibe. The wine was not as great as some of the other spots on our wine tour but the ambience made up for it. The service was good!

The property at Lenz Winery is beautiful and particularly beautiful if you make an appointment for opening. We had the winery to ourselves for the first 30-40 minutes before a bus dropped off a large party on a wine tour. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful although busy setting up the main outdoor tasting area so were not totally available. Wines were good but not knock your socks off. Rosé was particularly good. Enjoyed the wine nonetheless and would go again although at risk of wine tours...

We had a 5 wine tasting and they were pretty good. Place is very pretty. We had a reservation and were able to sit any place by ourselves and the waitress was super busy because there was a private event. They served the glasses in the bar instead of at the table. Asked for water and she brought more water bottles than we needed and the place closes at 5 and at 4:30 they were already in a hurry cleaning and removing everything. Honestly not the best experience and it is a shame for a nice place. Small variety of snacks and there is no combo, you can ask for them individually.

By far one of my favorite places! My family and I head up to NY once a year and every time we come to Lenz Winery. Years ago a gentleman behind the bar took the time to really educate me and guide me during my wine tasting. Since then, I’ve been hooked. Inger is an absolute sweetheart, ask for her. My husband and I went outside to take some photos before leaving this past June and I put my wallet down for the pictures and left. Inger was so attentive during our visit that she was able to find me on social media and informed me that I left my wallet. We’ll be back and can’t wait to see you next year!

I came here as part of a wine bus tour. They served us a glass of rose as the first tasting as soon as we walked in. We were seated at outdoor picnic tables. They came around about every 10-15 minutes after that to pour the next two tastings, a red and a white wine. For these, you had the option to choose between two different wines. The pourers provided brief descriptions of each wine. After the tastings, we were able to walk around the vineyards, which were lovely and sunny, though not quite as green and lush as others we visited on the same day.

I made it my absolute mission the find the best winery during my 3 weeks in Greenport. I began my search by posting polls in local Facebook groups. I received over 150 votes from locals. Once I had the results, I spent the next 3 weeks visiting each one in the top 10. Lenz was #6 on the list of votes, but was by far the best of the vineyards I visited. I ordered all their flight options and a few tastes of wines that seemed interesting to share with my group. They had a great selection of affordable to expensive. All were incredible and interesting. I was also floored by the quality of their less expensive wines. I couldnt help but leave with a variety of bottles. (Also, get the chocolate pairing!) I would give this winery 10 stars if I could!
