“This is a great liquor and wine store in downtown Peekskill. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Easy parking. Friendly staff that works here. I believe they are under new management too. If you’re looking for wine or a bottle of liquor, this place will get the job done.”
“Five stars for everything. The prices are incredibly reasonable for being 35 miles from Manhattan, in a place like Westchester County. The owner and staff are super friendly and the selection of anything and everything is "off the charts" amazing. I can't find enough good things to say about this wine and spirits shoppe. “I like any store where you get to interact with the owners: The brothers that own it are both very nice, if somewhat reserved initially: I would be too. While they each have their own personalities, I enjoy talking to both of them. Their opinions and perspectives are so much more global than most folks around here: It always makes the visit more interesting. I wish I had more time to talk, but let's face we're all running in this world. And their running, running a liquor store can be trying on the psyche: you have to be there so many hours and people are just running in and out, passing through, not really interacting : Very little time to get to know or appreciate each other. Too, regrettably Peekskill pallets, needs, and budget's don't necessarily support interesting and more varied selection of higher end distillates, liquors and wines, or the travel to find them. That's not their fault.
A solid small store that I'm happy to have as neighbors: There when we need them and I'm happy to help out the little/local guy that sets up shop here. It's actually in a great little plaza: Liquor/wine, solid Italian/pizza, best Chinese in area, sav-a-lot, laundromat, and a few more useful shops. Not too busy or crowded either.”
