I've been to the Paramount several times. It is owned by a non-profit organization, hoping to add greatly to the revitalization of the city. Originally opened in 1930, it has been restored during the last several years, still a work in progress. But the lights and sound system are great for music, and it seems that more and more artists are being booked. The offerings are generally music and comedians, with the occasional movie. Find something you like on the calendar. It's spacious and well worth the time and money put into restoration -- it brings back to Peekskill a vibe that the city needs. There are several restaurants nearby, and you can make a great evening out on the town. In the theater, you can buy snacks and drinks (including alcohol). Tickets can be purchased online using the seating chart, which I would recommend. Parking is available and free after 6pm.

I went to see Herman's Hermits.Very entertaining and so much fun. We were in the upper mezzanine and had a great view.Bar also sold water, and at least, NY Pretzels. The theater might even be an historic place, well kept.

Great music venue. Staff very helpful when tickets refused to print. My only beef was dearth of non alcoholic beverage choices.

For a place that’s almost 100 years old it’s in decent shape. Tickets are cheap and staff are friendly. It can get very crowded in the lobby area trying to enter especially if you want beer or alcohol. For a venue it served its purpose, nothing spectacular, I’m there for a comedy show not the athletics of the building. Overall I’d say if you can grab tickets to see something you want to see do it. Parking can be a pain so arrive early.

My wife and I attended the concert this past Saturday night. We have attended quite a few shows at the Paramount in the past. The Laurel Canyon band were fantastic and entertaining! They provided us with a Top Notch set list and were extremely knowledgeable about C, S,N and Y. as they should be.The vocals were loud and clear! They interacted with the audience very nicely which is great! The Paramount is a great venue to see a show. The ENTIRE staff are always amazing from the time you enter the venue until the time you leave!Thank you!

We had a great experience at our first time at this venue attending Bill Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters. Nice Art Deco theater venue. Mixing was off, and the amazing lead guitar player went mostly unheard but an amazing show nonetheless. Plus, we spent some time with Billy Bob!

My SO and I visited this theatre for Hyprov and we were able to find parking easily in a nearby garage, which was a short walk away. We arrived after the doors opened so we didn't wait in line, easily reaching the box office for our will-call tickets. The box office separated tickets by last name and didn't ask for any confirmation or proof of identification, which was a little strange. The lobby had a nice bar setup with several bartenders doling out beverages, which turned out to be very reasonably priced. We were shown our seats and we had a fantastic view. While the theatre is intimate, there was a great amount of space between our legs and the seats in front of us. The angle of the chairs also allows each row to have a better, higher view so you're not struggling to view the stage. We would absolutely love to catch another show here since we had such a great time.

Such a pleasure to be able to see top shelf entertainment locally! Now that the theater has been refurbished, it's top notch. We typically go for dinner to one of Peekskill's many nice restaurants before the show, which makes for a wonderful evening.
