First off, this place place is fng disgusting. Tiny waiting room that smells like must and mold with a comically small air filter, about 14 inches tall, running on the floor. Lmfao. It's literally scary to walk in the place. I have two auto-immune diseases and though not overly worried in general, this place gives me nightmares.
There is a dingy fluorescent bulb in the ceiling. There is a TV mounted on the wall with waiting info on it's barely legible green screen. Clearly something is wrong with a cable or connection. The carpet is this thread bare, 20 year old garbage that is actually cut in places where they have sectioned the space off for other businesses in the past. And has obviously been underwater several times.
The exterior glass walls are soooo, soooooooo dirty it's difficult to see out of. Touching the door handles is fng terrorizing.
And the wait. You have to sign up for blood work weeks in advance. I'm not exaggerating. Remember, this place makes its money do employee urine drug screening (you can imagine the atmosphere, bunch of happy campers in there) so it's booked non stop. So you can walk in but that's a huge crapshoot. Once I waited 20 minutes, once they said 3.5 hours.
There used to be a LabCorp in the big medical complex across the street from my hospital. Bright, clean. Incompetent staff, but at least it was a real business. This place is a rundown, hole in the wall pile of S where they are actually TAKING PEOPLE'S BLOOD. Scary.
I don't know who the hell is posting 5 star reviews about a blood lab. Weird.

My husband who needs periodic blood tests for a few medical issues WILL NEVER GO BACK TO QUEST DIAGNOSTICS! Luckily his insurance covers a different lab; he has had nothing but problems at Quest. The "technician" is incompetent, taking the wrong amount of blood from one arm and then having to ineptly puncture the other arm. On another occasion this same rude, incompetent know-it-all refused to give my husband the exact same blood test that he had three times prior, saying that it was "illegal" in NYS to perform this blood test. He told my husband "it's OK for you to be angry." At no point did he even consult the prior record nor did he in any way try to resolve the problem, except to "try" in vain to get his supervisor on the phone.

The male tech who was there to take my blood had the dirtiest hand and fingernails I have ever seen. This is really unacceptable in a healthcare setting especially one where blood is drawn.

Yesterday, I had a blood test at 9:30. I had a wonderful experience. She took me on time and was done in no time. I received my blood results the next day. Thank you.

Once I got the "hang of" the kiosk, it was okay. First, I needed to just pick-up sputum containers: wasn't sure how to do that without making an appointment. Fortunately a tech came out for another patient. I blurted out my question...rude, but it worked. ?

Hell is real and its name is Quest Diagnostics in Peekskill. Overbooked and always running behind schedule. The people that work there really shouldn’t be in the customer service industry as they have no idea whatsoever how to talk to people or make the slightest accommodations to help serve their patients. This place is an absolute disgrace to human kind.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I read these reviews but I must say I had a great experience this morning! I was seen on-time and the woman that took my blood was so pleasant and friendly!
Update: insurance didn’t cover the visit and Quest charged me $500!!! That’s a bit much for an out of pocket cost.

Wasn’t sure what to expect after reading these reviews but I decided to give it a try. Thank God I did! Didn't have an appointment so I signed in as a walk-in, only awaiting around 20-30 minutes. The lady who did my test was so nice and helpful, she explained everything step by step. Thank you for a great experience!

Horrible experience here, they made me wait over an hour just to tell me that they couldn’t do my drug testing for my job because they didn’t have time. some other guy that also needed drug testing for job had been going 3 days in arrow and they kept telling him to come back another time. I’ve used Quest diagnostic before in different locations and never had issues but this place is horrible.

I made an appointment but still had to wait over an hour until I decided to leave. They give you an option to wait in your car which I did because I have covid. When I was checking on my appointment status using my confirmation code after an hour, there was nothing showing in the system. They just forgot about me.

The people working here were so slow. They were extremely overbooked and running about an hour behind on appointments.

Not sure about other reviewers' experiences, but I arrived at 9:00 AM and was seen at exactly 9:10 AM, which is when I had my appointment. I was just getting lab work, which was quick and got my results within 24 hours, which is pretty quick for the labs I got done. The RN that saw me was professional and friendly. I think the key is to have an appointment and go early, otherwise there may be some delays. What's nice though is that Stop and Shop is next door if you find yourself waiting for a bit... overall good experience.
