Employees seemed preoccupied. Lorena was a pleasent efficient cashier. Parking at this location can be difficult if you have a large vehicle and the parking lot almost always crowed.”

“Thanksgiving Catered! Thank you so much for the delicious Turkey that was well seasoned and cooked perfectly (turkey was super easy to reheat)! The sides, Greens beans, Stuffing and the gravy just as good! Ordering online was easy and pick up was even simpler. I was also able to grab 2 pies while I was picking up my order. I was also tempted to grab a few other prepared items that caught my eye like the shrimp cocktail platter and stuffed mushrooms! Will be back thanks again!”

“Love this place, but I do miss AJ. He always greeted each customer. Management wouldn’t tell me where he went, although one of the workers confided in me that he went to work at a market in Brooklyn. Good luck to you AJ!As for North Shore Farms, I do come here a lot because it’s so close to my home. Plus, their produce is fresh and the workers are helpful (except the guy in the cheese dept who has given me an attitude when I had previously asked him a question). I also love their deli dept. There are so many delicious things to purchase when I don’t want to cook. Yes, their prices have increased, but that has been the case everywhere.”

“Pleasantly surprised to learn that Frontier Market est. 2018 is the OG location for later Maruichi delis in MA, CT, and NJ. Considerably smaller location compared to the newer generation stores. The little parking space next to the building is near impossible to back out of, so you are better off parking along the road. Bentos and onigiris (if there are any left) are immediately to your left upon entry and, unfortunately, all chilled and not kept warm under heat lamps like the Maruichi locations. The kind cashier lady did direct me to the microwave they offer inside the store. Their Facebook page does a great job of advertising the specials every week, especially fresh meats. Given the small footage of Frontier that's similar to that of other Japanese stores like Daido and Fuji in the area, you will either visit for the uniquely Japanese items or just a fun browse if you happen to be in the area. For a more immersive and productive Asian grocery shopping experience, I would rather visit an H-Mart or cross the river to Mitsuwa NJ.”

“Full service polish deli with great European delicatessen meats including head cheese,salami,double bacon,polish style rolled bacon(we call it Capicola). Hard to find polish grocery items spices etc. Stopped for a quick lunch to go which is today pork stew(not fatty at all) dumplings (similar to potato gnocchi) cold sauerkraut with dill and a radish salad. Also picked up a Nutella and a rose Packzi(donuts) which are almost double the size of your standard jelly doughnuts. No competition does not sway my review if a place is clean friendly reasonable and fresh food it's worth the trip”

I wanted to grab a tea so I decided to pop in. She introduced me to Barry's Tea. She said if I like strong tea, Barry's is the way to go. As an avid tea drinker, I've never heard of the brand, but I gave it a go. I'll drink it once it cools a bit. I really appreciate the suggestion, and now that I've had a sip...WOW! I like it. “This BJ's is definitely within the top 3 rankings of all of the Bjs in NYC for me. They feature a huge (free) parking lot, usually lots of cashiers, fresh produce, a large variety of items, curbside service, a clean facility (even their bathrooms) and a GAS station with the deepest discounts ever (especially if you use their credit card).The Gas station literally has it's own territory and reviews but it's worth gushing about. Just be sure to avoid their crunch times as the demand can be very high, just like the quality of the gas. Aside from fuel for your car, the foodstuffs available are aplenty. The best way to shop here:1) Come with a game plan/list/budget. Otherwise you'll get to the parking lot and wonder how to get your groceries home.2) Bring your coupons. Or use their app to pre-load coupons onto your membership card.3) Stick to your plan! Eat before shopping as it will take longer than you imagined.4) Check expiration dates. And be realistic. If you won't really use 25 lbs of ground beef within a week then maybe buy a smaller pack at the supermarket in the adjacent shopping plaza, instead.No true complaints here.
