“Amazing find! I was looking for another local business in the strip mall out front. I followed the sign for additional parking around back. I see DeCicco & Sons. I notice the paintings on the windows. I see that it's a grocery store. So my dad and I venture in. So glad we did! You enter to a beautiful produce department. Big beautiful tomatoes. Once you get down that aisle you see the whole store. The fish section had extra jumbo shrimp. Some of the biggest I've ever seen. Huge fillets of fish. Then the meat department. Fresh store made chicken burgers (with peppers & onions, with spinach & mozzarella, etc.), sausages, skewers. The list goes on. A woman brought burgers out while we were there that she had just made fresh. Then the aisles start. You would expect that they would have their own brands like Whole Foods. Not the case. All major brands just like any grocery store. Huge selection. Friendly staff in the aisle. One young man actually helped me locate semolina flour. I was having trouble locating it. Great customer service. Signed up for a loyalty card on my phone while I shopped. Cashier at checkout didn't ask if I was a loyalty member. Just rang me up. I had to tell her that I had a phone number to enter or I would have missed out. I packed myself. She didn't match the rest of the store. Can't wait to return for my next shopping trip!”

“This store works rather well for me. Before I used to go all the way up to the one on Central Ave in Yonkers This one is just across the bridge at Boston Road. Oh yeah, the staff is quite willing to help you too.”

“This neighborhood supermarket delivers where it truly matters. The assortment is remarkable; you can find almost everything you need without hopping from store to store. Produce and perishables are consistently fresh, and prices are uniformly competitive, none of that “cheap here, overpriced there” game you see elsewhere.

Lines move quickly, checkout is painless, and you’re back in your car within minutes. Speaking of cars, parking is easy and convenient, which already puts this place ahead of half the supermarkets in Westchester.

But the real treasure is the deli. Their gourmet selections rival what you’d get in a restaurant, all proudly crafted by Chef Jimmy. He’s not only talented, he’s one of the nicest people you’ll meet, always attentive and genuinely invested in what customers need. It’s rare to find that kind of pride and personal touch these days.

In a world dominated by big‑box stores and impersonal shopping, this market manages to hold onto something precious: the old‑fashioned feeling of a neighborhood store where they know you by name. I truly hope they continue to thrive and serve our Pelham Manor community with that same human touch that keeps us coming back.”

“This is not your typical grocery. Established years ago in Germany and now knocking it out of the park in America. A simple market layout. Weekly specials. An amazing bakery with what I think are wonderful croissants at a 49¢ price point wow! Coffee prices to die for, $4.99 a pound not typical. Having the mobile app gives us extra bonuses and many weekly FREE items. At checkout last week the cashier said I was entitled to a free pound of ground beef, leave your cart here and go get it. This never happened at Trader Joe's. This is not a boutique shopping experience, but it will save you a ton of cash and provide you with some unique items. I love the frozen food section ( shrimp from Greenland, escargot, etc.) you never know what you might find. If you are feeling skeptical about Lidl just take a deep breath, bring an open mind and walk the aisles with nothing preconceived so you too can be open to a whole new shopping experience. Best to grab a shipping cart from the parking lot since they never seem to by the door. Prost!”
