“Had a very good visit with Dr bardari. My dog had some very vague symptoms and the dr came to a very likely diagnosis of low grade pancreatitis. She made him more comfortable with fluids and an anti nausea meds and he is back to himself.”

I cannot recommend Dr. Penyy at The Cat Doctor highly enough! My 16-year-old Chinchilla Persian, Apple, recently had surgery, and the care we received was absolutely world-class.

What truly sets Dr. Penyy apart is her incredible heart and selflessness. I’ve seen her kneeling on the floor for a long time just to carefully remove Apple’s sutures one by one, showing zero ego. She once even accidentally bumped her head because she was focusing so intensely on examining him, yet her only concern was making sure we weren’t worried! She genuinely puts the well-being of the cats above everything else.

Despite her busy schedule, she is always responsive—answering questions late at night or on weekends with professional guidance. She remembers every detail of Apple’s health stats, which gives me so much peace of mind.

As an artist, Apple is my muse, and I picked up watercolor specifically to capture the beauty of cats. I was so moved by Dr. Penyy’s dedication that I painted a miniature watercolor of her caring for Apple. When I gave it to her, she was so surprised and called it 'so artistic'—her reaction meant the world to me.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing, compassionate doctor in our corner. Thank you, Dr. Penyy, for everything you do for the Apple of our eye, Apple! ??❤️

My dog is quite anxious and they were so patient with her and tried to make her feel comfortable. Dr. Coronato is very kind and thorough. “Dr. Cassandra Ring is the best veterinarian my Willow had, yes had, because he passed away on 5/6/2026 at the office. She and my family were by his side, but she cried as if Willow was her baby. Our Willow, Pitbull mix was 16.5 years old. The office personnel were also in tears, as they said goodbye to Willow with us. Finding such empathy is unique, this office has it, our hearts are devastated by the transition of our beloved Willow, at least he knew such beautiful love. They handled everything for us❤️”

“I never write reviews but this one is necessary! Dr. Pozo is truly a gem, she’s so warm and gracious and puts you right at ease! She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!”

“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!”

“- Excellent doctors (recommend Dr. Bassman), excellent techs, excellent front office staff, excellent management. No exceptions, which is rare.
- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.

After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.

It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.

If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.

“Honestly, this place is lovely. I have been to many vets over the years and I have never felt as safe as I do here. They do not shame- my cat is overweight and they remained focused on a plan, not on making me feel like a bad pet parent. Whats even crazier is that my cats do not fear the carrier. While they will cry in the car once they are in the vet office they are calm. They come home relaxed. I think about all the trauma my other cats had at previous vets and it honestly breaks my heart knowing this was an option the whole time. VCG are profoundly lovely and caring people.”

“I would like to say thank you to the Manor Veterinary Clinic. We saw a pigeon get hit by a car and get a broken wing. I called my veterinarian in Eastchester, but they would not take the pigeon. I was passing Manor Veterinary Clinic, so I stopped in to ask if they would take care of the pigeon. They immediately said yes! They got a box and comfortable bedding for the pigeon. They told me if the pigeon could be saved, they would do their best! I followed up with a phone call and they were glad to speak with me! They informed me that they stitched the pigeon up and are making arrangements to have the pigeon go to a bird sanctuary and continue to heal! I just wanted to share my experience with this clinic. The women at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful and the veterinary team did not think twice to help this pigeon!”

I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. “We can’t thank enough to the wonderful team of Dr. Paul Schwartzreich. My cat, Hydrox, got seriously infected after a fight with another animal in April. She was brought to Dr. Schwartzreich with bad skin abscess which was then treated properly with great attention. Denise, who performed after-surgery care and bandage changing was exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure the wounds were healing in a good manner. The appreciation also goes to other nice people in this clinic, including but not limited to Maria and Amanda in the front desk, and Juan and other staff who worked behind the scenes.
Hydrox is still in the process of slow recovering but we are confident for a faster recovery with Dr. Schwartzreich and his team by our side.”

“Love this vet. I had a rescue with metastatic breast cancer. It's a male cat. This disease in male cats is usually fatal. I got him that way. We kept going after lump after lump.
