They took wonderful care of my cat before he passed away, and they take excellent care of my current cat with multiple special needs and complex health issues. Hardworking staff provide amazing care for the animals they see. Despite being short-staffed (a common finding in all healthcare practices these days), and the large influx of animals seeking health care post-pandemic-- everyone there always goes above and beyond to help my pet!

Our family took one of the guinea pigs there for an operation under anesthesia with an ET - tube for a mastectomy / for tumor found . Both of the guinea pigs lived for ten years . They kept the guinea pig who was operated on - until he was eating timothy hay, and sent home a bottle of a liquid antibiotic and a bottle of liquid pain medication - both to be measured and given with an eyedropper .

Northgate Animal Hospital is awesome at scheduling appointments for my cats and I have complete faith in Dr Hughes. The staff are all pleasant and highly qualified for their positions.

They are very responsible with my animals when they are open but they are not reliable for any kind of emergency's. Better off finding a vet that puts animals over days off.

I will share some facts about my experience here. My rabbit had visited this clinic for 16 times from 2020-2021. Yes, I spent a lot of money here because I trusted them and I loved my rabbit. I would have done anything to keep him healthy. He died at 1.5 years old. He died young. It took the clinic between 07/09 to 07/23 to just report me a blood report where his liver value SGOT decreased from 82 to 13. He died on 07/22. One day before he died, the doctor was in office and I had a call asking for the blood report which came out on 07/20, yet no one checked for me or told me about it. The day after, Ace died. Would you like a clinic who takes 13 + days to deliver a blood report? If I didn't ask for it after my rabbit died, I wouldn't know when they will actually give me the blood report. Could take them even longer. Cats & Critters has also been difficult to me during the autopsy process and cremation. Just because I asked why they didn't tell me about the blood report, they dropped my client status when my rabbit's autopsy was still ongoing. Cats & Critters did not provide me a chance to purchase a good cremation service. Never gave me an expectation as to how the cremation will look like. My cremation arrived with film of ashes on the surface of the bag. I communicated this to them, yet they blamed it on Cornell. This whole time, Cornell refused to communicate with me because Cats & Critters, as the referring clinic, was actually in charge. Now Cats & Critters failed at helping me get a good service or stay informed. Be careful with this clinic. It seems like, your pet stops mattering for them once your pet dies. And once you annoy them because you want some honest answers, they drop you as a client.

Love love dr.hach and all the amazing techs. Every time one of my guinea pigs has an issue they're quick to get her in and do a thorough examination. They take their time and make sure my girls are comfortable. Every interaction I've had is extremely personable and they make sure that whatever treatment plans are made that you always have a say and are on the same page. I would recommend to anyone seeking a small animal vet.

Even in Covid times, when scheduling gets crazy, and changes in routines make everything a bit more stressful, the doctors and staff here are always professional and pleasant. No matter which vet works with my cat, I'm always kept in the loop and feel like I'm involved in my kitty's care. Occasionally, when I feel like there's an urgent need to make an appointment and they are booked, they will refer me to other offices within the Monroe Veterinary Associates group and are able to share records with them. But, Cats and Critters is our home base. I've never had a problem getting the care my cat needs. It is also easy to make appointments and order meds or food through their mobile app. so you can free up their phone line and save yourself some time as well.

I seriously can't say enough good things about Cats & Critters. I just adopted a cat and this is my first time having a cat with medical issues. When we went in for his first check up, they assured me his medical issues were nothing to be worried about. They also thoroughly explained to me what his condition meant and what medications he would need to be on. Dr. Adamo is extremely educated as well as kind and compassionate. Also, they have an app that is easy to use and very convenient! I can order my cat's prescription food and medicine right off my phone and they always have it ready for me right on time! Cats & Critters has exceeded my expectations when it comes to a veterinary office and I couldn't be happier with my decision to come here!!

Cats & Critters is great! Dr. Sanders has been so patient and sweet to my cat Gus-Gus, and so patient and sweet with me as I'm navigating some tricky allergy issues he's been dealing with. Everyone in the office is a real gem. They are knowledgeable and professional, and I would definitely recommend them to any cat parent.

Cats and critters is absolutely amazing. My 13 year old Persian cat had to have dental surgery, I was terrified of him getting put under due to kidney issues, age, and breed. Everything went perfect, and on top of that it was the best priced dental surgery that I got compared to other vets. Thank you cats and critters for taking care of my Georgie! You guys did an amazing job

I got a free first-visit voucher from Lollypop Farm that I used. I love how smooth the visit was. My rabbit was absolutely terrified on the way there (she hates being in moving vehicles), but very quickly decided to come out and explore the clinic. Since I'm a new rabbit owner, I had plenty of questions for Dr. Hach, like how to pick my skiddish rabbit up, how to cut her nails, diet, etc., and she answered them all. They were extremely nice to my rabbit too and treated her very gently. Will be coming back for routine check-ups!

Dr. Hach and the staff of Cats & Critters took fantastic care of my rat Radar when he had a large mammary mass removed. Dr. Hach updated me mid-surgery and the staff did an excellent job communicating with both myself and the pet sitter that was watching the rats while I was away. Radar is now several weeks post mass removal and he is doing great thanks to Cats & Critters!

It's hard to say you love a vet because going to a vet doesn't always mean you will walk out with good news! While our little girl Nova has had a great bill of health since we started going to the Cat Doctors about 2 years ago, our boy Neo does not have the same outcome. He used to love the vet, but unfortunately he had to have some teeth remove and we dealt with urinary blockage that he associates the doctors with only bad things :( Understandably so! The Cat Doctors constantly tries to make him feel at ease as best as they can, but of course our little man is very particular in his feelings. I appreciate all the knowledge they've provided us and how friendly they are each time I call or come in. Neo just doesn't understand they are trying to help him :)
