“I want to share my deepest appreciation to the lovely couple of Jeffrey Jennings. I’m here in Rochester restoring power. I was in a bind and needed an emergency worked done to a vehicle. I am a mechanic myself. I had the parts and the tools I needed an AC machine. Jeffrey made a phone call to Mark over at Universal imports and got me hooked up to get the Lineman AC back in his truck. I cannot thank this couple again they are awesome and they deserve more than just five stars.”

We have had funerals under the guidance of Alan Giltner and now, most recently, with Shawn Giltner on the death of our sister. Shawn compassionately took our phone call in the middle of the night and met with us the next morning to make the arrangements. He was always kind and professional and responsive to any questions we had. He put together an absolutely beautiful memorial folder that will be a precious keepsake of our beloved sister. Thank you so much for all that you did to get us through this sad and difficult time. You were there for us from our initial phone call to being with us at the graveside. This review is inspired by Kate who helped us with all the arrangements for my grandmother’s calling hours.

She was wonderful. So kind and patient and took a lot of time with us as we were doing the planning. She let us know we could take our time. Never impatient as we were trying to decide on what felt right. She also went the extra mile, literally for us, to bring my grandmother’s keepsakes from Henrietta to Victor so we wouldn’t have to figure out of town mailing.

At the time of the calling hours both Kate and John were wonderful and so supportive.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there was a little mix up with the date on the prayer cards and one of the remains portions. With the prayer cards that was especially hard because everyone had already taken cards and it was after the service when we realized they were incorrect. That said, Miller did get right on getting us what we needed with the other portion on remains and correcting the cards so at least our family could have them correctly.

A lot was going on the day we were in and I can see how a mix up might happen. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve given 5+ stars. Or even 4.5 if Google would allow.

Overall, thank you to Miller Funeral home. We felt supported really well at a hard time.”
