Second time in a row the Apple Pay readers didn’t work at all, and the Help button does nothing.

Rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. Twice now I’ve gotten attitude. Once because I didn’t know to scratch off part of a winning lotto ticket where it says “scratch to cash” (was a gift, I never purchase them). You’d think her scratching them off was asking far too much. I apologized and said I didn’t know, I thought they had to, and she shouted that it made no sense and huffed the entire time. That was a simple $2.00 winning.Cut to three months later, I have $2 in my pocket, so I purchase another winning ticket (admittedly for $100). I give it to the cashier, ask if I can cash it. He scans it, then gets irritated saying I needed to let him know, he can’t pay that. I told him I didn’t know, I have never won that much before, I didn’t know any better, I just purchased it here, etc. I figured since it was under $600, it was okay. Then he continued to give me attitude saying it was my fault that he scanned it without checking the amount. I offered to go elsewhere and got a snippy, “It’s too late for that, you needed to tell me first.” I understand you didn’t have extra money, but why didn’t you check or ask prior? Seems like common sense to me if you know your limits, versus assuming a customer would. Admittedly, I’m sure a lot of people do know that, but being as I buy them maybe once a year and have previously only won $20, I didn’t know, and the attitude at his mistake was unwarranted. No way I would ever be allowed to talk that way to a customer at my job. I’d be fired.Been here numerous other times as well getting gas, only to to have customers tell the workers they were being rude either for not seeing a sign that wasn’t there, having to count change, or trying to cash/buy tickets. Saw a little old lady teary eyed back around Christmas because the lady shouted at her over not seeing a sign about the card reader not working. If you can avoid going into the store and interacting with some staff members, it’s all fine. (And there are two other staff members who are always super friendly and kind.)

Conveniently located at the intersection of 441 and Fairport nine-mile point rd in the Penfield, NY Suburb of Rochester NY this particular marathon is cleanly and well staffed. The convenience store located inside this location is well-stocked and has a decent selection of snacks, goodies, and coffee. The convenience store located inside this location is well-stocked and has a decent selection of snacks, goodies, and coffee. I would recommend it due to the quality of gas, cleanliness, and location as well as the well-priced gasoline compared to some of the other gas locations in the area.

Card readers do not work even with chip cards. When I went in to the station to purchase fuel with inside card reader, the clerk gave me so much attude that I left with out buying anything. The clerk was so rude that I believe he should be fired. He is not doing the business any good.

Very nice gas station. Nice pumps, newly renovated entirely from when it was Hess, which was always a dump. Always clean!

Much the best. Support family owned businesses. The profit margin is low, quality of service great.Support is essential, Don't let the big conglomerates run our family owned competitors out of business.xoxoRobert
