The teachers and staff at this preschool are so wonderful! You'll be amazed at what your child learns here.

We transferred our daughter here from another local daycare center, and she loves it! The staff in the infant room are so caring, and really get to know your child. It's hard leaving your baby for the day, but it helps so much to know they are in the hands of staff who genuinely enjoy spending time with the children. I really appreciate that they don't just stick your child in a device all day. They give them plenty of tummy time and interaction. We have nothing but good things to say about PPELC! They have also done a really great job caring for the kids during the pandemic. I was worried about returning to daycare at first, but now I feel totally confident in my child's safety. If you are looking for a safe, quality, caring daycare center this place is for you.

As a parent who participated with PPELC (Penfield Presbyterian Early Learning Center) for seven-plus years, I do not recommend PPELC as a daycare, learning center or summer camp. Your child will be treated as a number and will become a victim of circumstances due to failed leadership.PPELC is not what it once was. The center has lost twelve of its longtime staff within one year of the hiring of a new director. The directors' new direction is to treat the centers' operations "as a business and with love when possible" and has no regard for creating a safe, positive community for children or its teachers. Penfield Prespertarin Church has no oversight to directors responsibilities allowing the director role to become a position of the police, judge, and executioner. The program as of October 2018 is losing staff and parents at an alarming rate. Parents have united to express their grievances to the church only to have them be ignored and handed off to the directors' review to create more tension and conflict. For this center to have any hope of success the church will need to take a leadership role and support its team and provided direct supervision to the director position and support the teachers and build a family-friendly environment again.Proceed with caution if you are considering using the services of PPELC.
