Only have been having problems the last few years with the bank tellers, management usually never gives me a problem. Today my experience with a bank teller was like none other. I will not go into detail but she needs to stay in her own lane. Never in my life have I had a bank teller question me and scold me over something that was none of her business when I provided proof of everything she needed to be able to access MY OWN BANK ACCOUNT without her even having to ask me, and the kicker was I was only trying to make change. Then questioned me why I was even making change after scolding me and giving her the hint I was not happy. I’m in customer service myself and I would never talk or treat anyone the way she did. If I wasn’t on a time crunch the only reason I went to summit in the first place I would of said something to management. Let’s just say I’m about done with summit.

Apparently you cannot go to this bank to get change. I needed $50 ones for a market and she suggested I go “anywhere, like Wegman’s, honestly.” You want me to ask the cashier at Wegman’s to give me $50 ones? Her answer should have been, “you can go to ANY OTHER bank, cause that’s what I did and apparently, asking a bank for change is not unordinary…I also probably wouldn’t have even bothered with this review had the other lady at ESL not just been incredibly nice and helpful. I actually need to open an account closer to home, and will likely use ESL over Summit, even though our families have had accounts there for years, just because of the stark difference of service.

This establishment is a f****** joke!!!!!! My husband bought a new vehicle. The car dealership called them to see what the pay off amount was. They told them $8,196. The dealership cut them a check for $8,200. This place called my husband 3 different times saying he still owes $227.89 on a car he no longer drives. They told him they "couldn't stop the last payment" there shouldn't be a last payment it was PAID IN FULL!!!!! They are trying to double dip. My husband finally got a hold of someone i told them i will be writing a review. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I will make sure i tell everyone about this place. I've never heard of such nonsense before in my life! I will be writing this review on every website i can find associated with this awful company

If you own a business or do your banking at certain mornings hours, You can count on summit to not be open until they feel like it at 10! I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to come in and shoot down the place for being pushy and not polite, but I know its not employees fault for they go by what the upper muckity mucks say. Dont let the name fool you for they are a bank. Advantage is the best! If you dis satisfy any more you will major heart break.

... and it just gets WORSE! To others thinking about doing business with Summit FCU, I recommend... ANY... OTHER Federal Credit Union. I'd even recommend Wells Fargo over the Summit FCU! My old, delinquent account was moved to a collection agency which was subsequently paid off in full. Despite proof that I paid off this old balance in full, the Summit claimed that I still owed this balance to the credit reporting agencies when I filed the protests. I have turned my financial life around but the Summit FCU is the one chink in my chain still f-ing me over! In other words, Summit accepted payment from EOS CCA (a collection agency that purchases debts) AND now they also want me to pay the same balance which EOS CCA paid to take ownership of (and were paid for). Yeah. Absolutely not!

I had several unrelated banking tasks to take care of, & Julie helped me complete them all right there at the branch.
