I love the selection at the store and the friendly help most of the store employees offer. However, the girls at the check out counter can be extremely unfriendly and even rude. Just now I went to check out and the girl at the register almost shouted “is that it”, never looked at me, then after I paid, she handed me the receipt without a thank you even though I said thank you to her. Friendly customer service counts especially at the register.

Any time we are working on a project at the cottage, our first stop is Knapp & Schlappi for materials. They have everything you need for your DIY projects, and the people are very helpful and friendly. Great place to shop.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The prices are on the high side, but that is because it's a small town, and the pricing is geared towards tourists and the lake residents than for the everyday community.
