We got stranded in the Finger Lake region, our 14 years old clunker lost one of its cylinders. I called the shop on Monday 8am and they could fix it while I was waiting. We were on the road by 9:30.

Outstanding service. My car broke down in Penn Yan, NY and AAA had the car towed to Polmanteer Auto Service Center. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the needed part, and got it installed in just a few hours. They gave me a ride to and from where I was staying so I wasn't stranded. The price seemed fair, with no surprises. If I lived in the area I'd use them for all my car service.

We’ve been taking our cars to Polmanteers for the past few years. I know I can rely on them for good honest work. They listen to our concerns and use their expertise to handle the problem. Fixed a stripped oil plug, replaced lost bolts on underfoil, and fixed a broken piece of exterior trim. All things that would have (or have) been overlooked elsewhere.

I was not a regular customer of theirs. My tailpipe fell off. I called them they took it in and also did other things I needed done. Good quality work and completed in a reasonable time. I will be a customer now. Everyone there was nice and very helpful.

We hit a deer in Trumansberg, NY and we're from Northern VA. I truly cannot say enough good things about this shop. They fielded tons of questions from us and kept us very informed as to the status of our repairs (which were extensive). They have even followed up with us to check on the status of the work and everything is still great weeks later! Honestly I don't have a single complaint over the entire process! Thank you to the entire team at Polmanteer!
