Elmore SPCA Inc. is a wonderful rescue center and no-kill shelter. It is a very clean and well-maintained establishment, even for its small size. The staff is attentive, super friendly, and full of knowledge and care for the animals. They take their time to be very informative and answer all questions. The pets are well cared for, happy, and given a great amount of love. They have amazing volunteers who come almost every week to help. Volunteers walk and play with the dogs daily, socialize the cats and kittens, and help with cleaning. The facility features big outdoor play pens for the dogs. It is an excellent place to find a "furever" friend, as the staff ensures adopters are matched with the best option and leave with everything they could need.

I'm a big fan of interaction with cats and dogs (latter are too noisy when indoors for my autistic ears; sadly) and I lament my limited budget for donations. My apartment is a one cat or dog maximum and I have that slot filled out so far. Otherwise I would adopt another fuzzy friend. I'm happy to say I got to visit today!
