Asked for a bagel with cream cheese, and I get a bagel with barely any. If I wanted a dry plain bagel, I would have asked for one. Cook staff needs to step it up.

Good sandwiches but they overcharge on gas. They have signs up saying to pay inside, and then charge a credit card fee in there. Cheaper to just go a half mile into Cold Spring.

I got a turkey & cheddar with lettuce tomato onion mayo mustard salt and pepper on a roll -Your typical deli sammy.It was a fatty sandwich that was really delicious! This place was busy on a Sunday afternoon, but it did not take long for me to get my lunch.I will definitely eat here again when I am in the area for another hike.

The Appalachian Market is a staple of Putnam County. The sandwiches are elite, specially the breakfast sandwiches, which can't be compared to any yuppie cold spring bed and breakfast.Sure sometimes the workers are short with you but they deal with serving a very rude, misguided, and abrasive type of New Yorker that resides in the Garrison or Cold Spring area and thinks they are way more important then they actually are.Thankful for this deli

Most disgusting burger I've ever had! I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger. It didn't have ANY mushrooms, looked like it had been microwaved or boiled instead of grilled, and tasted rotten. Like the meat had gone bad 3 days ago. It was SO bad, I took twos bites and threw it away.YOU HEAR THAT!? Your food is so bad, an AT thru hiker threw it out!

Rude Staff yelling screaming accused me of breaking coffee cup dispenser Bad attitudes worker with no forfinger And cashier Sylvia they never greet you with a good morning They seem to cater to their Spanish speaking crowd making you wait endlessly while they chat They also speak bad about you in Spanish thinking you dont understand them Ive given this place several trys I will not go back and spend a penny there horrible staff poorly made sandwiches do not spend your money here

Ive been here many times and NOW finally Ive had enough Rude staffe Sylvia and counter help man with missing finger I was berated and accused of breaking a cup dispenser This staff talks rude about customers behind your back and in your face in spanish They make you wait for food and placing order while the take care of the spanish speaking friends Poor sandwiches Bad attitudes high prices disrespectful staff Spend your hard earned money elsewhere
