The seasons is one of the top venues in New Jersey and an absolute treat to photograph a wedding at!As a wedding photographer it is super important to work at a venue that has scenic opportunities so that may couples don't have to find an outside park somewhere to do their photos. The Seasons does not disappoint with that! They have beautiful waterfalls, a gorgeous garden area and an amazing indoor staircase! “My spouse and I looked at around 11 other venues, and none come close to what you get at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. First off, the whole venue is GORGEOUS, with a beautiful, freshly made ceremony room, cozy but classy cocktail room, and a spectacular elegant ballroom for your reception. Even the hallways, groomsmen suite, and the bridal suites are amazing - they're big, stunning and are perfect for getting ready. If you're considering a winter or summer wedding, this venue is perfect. Even you're in the summer and it gets rained out, you'll still have a picture-perfect ceremony room, so really there is no need to worry. We did our wedding just a week ago and it was amazing!Not only does this venue wow your guests in terms of how it looks, but the staff are INCREDIBLE. We worked with Samantha (our event consultant), Jeffery (our maître d'), Monica (our bridal attendant), Max (helped with the groomsmen) Sal (entertainment services), DJ Tony Gia, and Shar (videographer). From day 1, Samantha was always enthusiastic and patient about our many many many questions that we asked throughout the whole entire year before our wedding. She was a joy to work with! Everything was done professionally and the answers provided truly reflects how much this venue knows and understands how to run a good wedding. Monica, Jeffery, and Max were with us the day of the wedding and they truly ran the show behind the scenes. They were there to answer any questions, take all the stress off of us and our families, and made sure everything was on time and done well. There was really nothing we needed to worry about because Jeffery, Monica, and Max were well coordinated and knew exactly what to do, even with our outside vendors (photographer and florist).One of the best things about The Estate at Florentine Gardens is that they also have amazing entertainment services. If you end up booking this venue, we highly recommend using Sal Travis and his team. Sal was always ready to provide us good song selections and help us craft our package for what we would like to have (lighting, videography, DJ, sparkler towers photo booth, ceremony music, and so much more). DJ Tony Gia was the best - he kept our dance floor up and dancing the whole night and was an amazing MC. Sal's team of videographers were also outstanding and blew our guests away. They were able to catch everything live and even produce an amazing wrap-up video to display at the end of the night.Our friends and families members who have been to so many weddings before said that our wedding was the best wedding that they have ever been to, and we know that it's because The Estate at Florentine Gardens is 1. beautiful, 2. provides the highest quality of service, and 3. is truly working to ensure your day goes smoothly, and 4. the food is so DELICIOUS!! “As a florist, working at Edgewood Country Club is always a wonderful experience for myself and my team.As a client, planning my sister’s baby shower with my mom - we were blown away with how well Eric and the entire team at Edgewood took care of us.Everything was seamless, the food was incredible and the service was not only top tier but thoughtful.For example - I made a joke at one of our meetings about how I loved espresso martinis and Eric added a note to our food and beverage order immediately to ensure the staff was able to make espresso martinis that day!Speaking of Eric - in my work life I’ve worked with easily hundreds of event managers in New York and New Jersey and Eric is a standout talent in this field.Love love love this place!”

“I am so thankful for Emily and her entire team. The moment my son started to walk, I knew I had to enroll him in a gym class to burn out his toddler energy. Initially my son was very shy and took awhile to warm up to Emily but after a few classes, my son was running around the entire gym and having a great time. He learned to climb and go down the slide from the play gym. Emily and her team are so kind and genuinely love playing with the kids. I’m honestly sad that we are not able to continue since my son will be attending daycare soon. But I highly recommend for all the first time moms. It was such a safe and fun place for my son.”

“I’m very late to give this 5-star review, but it still needs to be done. I got married here in October of 2022, and it was perfect. I don’t have one complaint, but I have many praises to share. Alana, Paige, and Maria were fantastic, and I didn’t necessarily make it easy for them (I don’t think lol). I had a lot of decor, checklists, etc. (very organized perfectionist bride) and they managed all the moving pieces seamlessly. Huge 3-room bridal suite with plenty of room for the ladies to get ready, as well as a separate spacious area for the men, and my husband and I were able to stay there that night. The venue was beautiful, we were lucky to have gotten an amazing fall day, they did have great backup options in case of inclement weather, which luckily we didn’t need. I don’t understand why more people local to Rockland don’t get married here and are always choosing places an hour or more away. It was super convenient for myself and guests, and had amazing views, which produced beautiful photos, particularly in the fall season we chose. Not to mention, the food options were super customizable and DELICIOUS, tons of stations, dinner selections, multiple desserts in addition to wedding cake, late night snack. Everyone is still raving over the food, venue, whole wedding in general, and I owe a huge thank you to Paramount for making our day literally perfect.”

“We cannot leave Avenue enough stars.We used Avenue event space for our sons bar mitzvah and we could not be happier.From the moment we met Arial, his customer service was amazing.You can truly feel that he cares about your event.The communication was always quick and painless.The venue is gorgeous and they have everything that you need, from the food, the entertainment, their staff and service. “I joined my G.S. team here from 11/5-11/7. The beautiful surroundings first caught my eye...405 acres of peace, tranquility, and nature. I wish I could have stayed longer just to explore more. Waking up to the sunrise was incredible!! Upon check-in, I was met by Peter Stafford, who welcomed me and shared information concerning the location of the room. Brian, the bus driver, and another gentleman, who I embarrassingly cannot remember his name now, took our luggage to our lodging area and helped us get around over the few days. I am so delighted with the accommodations that the Food and Beverage staff shared. I was never made to feel uncomfortable or treated as though I was difficult. They went out of their way to make sure I had food I could eat even with my allergies. A huge THANK YOU to Aquime, James, Dan, and Nariccisa for the best customer service and all-around kindness. I may not remember the girls' names at the front desk or others on the staff, but I just want to thank each and every one for making my trip wonderful. The room was clean and I had everything I needed...the bottles of water were a lovely surprise. Amazing team, beautiful atmosphere, and a rejuvenating experience...one that I highly recommend to others!!! THANK YOU, AGAIN!!!Rooms: Spacious, well-cared for clean!Walkability: Great space for walking and the best accommodations if you need assistance getting around. “The Flavor Labs got it all covered! We celebrated my 6yo daughter's birthday party at the Flavor Labs in Norwood and that was amazing! The kids absolutely loved it. The Flavor Labs team handled everything from start to finish — we just had to show up. Our instructor Julie was outstanding and handled the excited kids with ease!”

“Great time here at the Rock Club.Purchased a Groupon and decided to visit on a Friday morning. Called ahead and the front desk staff were very quick in getting back to me to confirm that a belayer was available at that time. They also confirmed the Groupon over the phone. I went ahead and completed the required waiver forms online prior to our visit.Adequate parking was available at that time. The Rock Club (downstairs) shares its space with a with a tennis club, so make sure you follow the ramp down toward the Rock Club entrance and NOT the stairs whih leads to the tennis club.We arrived at around 10am and it was fairly empty. The Rock Club staff explained the process and set us up with climbing shoes.We were then introduced to our belayer who was awesome. Over the next hour, we tried climbs ranging in difficulty. The wall heights range from about 35-40 feet and the peg placement and wall angles vary throughout the climbs, making some more difficult than others. We even had some time to try some bouldering. Our belayer was great at explaining techniques and technical terms. She was very patient and very encouraging...though not "pushy" at all.After we finished, the staff was nice enough to show us around to see what else was available at the facility: childrens area, common areas, training rooms and weight rooms.May go without saying...wear comfy clothes. As a regular gym-goer, but someone who has NOT climbed before, this was a welcomed challenge. Certain muscles, particularly the forearms and core, may not be part of the typical gym regimen...but are very important in climbing...that being said, I was definitely feeling it the next day.Overall we had a great experience at the Rock Club. We will deinifitely look into other classes.Kudos to all the staff members there.”

“Let me start by saying that I am the bride that did not want the hassle of a wedding but ended up having one anyway. A huge factor was the staff at the Westchester Manor and how incredible they were. From the beginning of the planning process until the big day, John Gresia and his team made the process of wedding planning a breeze. John had recommendations for local vendors, in which we used his vendor John for the photobooth, and we cannot say enough good things! Aside from being a beautiful, local venue, the food and attention to detail were excellent. My husband and I had our reception at the Westchester Manor on November 11th, 2023 and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We received positive feedback from all our friends and family, which made it all the more worth it. Our guests to this day are still complimenting us on the service and the food served from cocktail hour, through dinner and dessert. John was always available to answer any questions, was super accommodating through the process, and made everything run even more seamlessly the day of. I cannot wait to have future events here. “I can't say enough good things about Hudson Loft & the caterer On the Marc. The team we worked with to coordinate was great; they were so easy to work with. The event staff were truly incredible - super attentive, professional, and nice. Marc from On the Marc even called me afterwards to make sure everything went well. We got SO many compliments on the food and how incredible it was - (even from some friends and family that work in the industry and/or are harsh critics)! I can say from personal experience the custom cocktail was also delicious!! The wedding was absolutely beautiful from start to finish (with an incredible sunset/golden hour) and was absolutely perfect which is in large part due to the team at Hudson Loft & On the Marc. We couldn’t have asked for a better or more fun wedding!!”

“Did my wedding reception here. If it wasn’t for Esha, I don’t think I would have rated them so highly. There were a few important things that almost fell through the cracks in terms of undiscussed fees, decorations, cutlery, and parking. Esha was quick to sort it out when my now husband and I brought it up. Esha communicated effectively via phone, email, and written statements so there were no discrepancies. She also reminded us of what was to come since we didn’t always understand the plan/details. The actual event turned out beautiful. The waiters were incredibly helpful and accommodating with serving, esp when our own caterer we hired was almost 2 hours late . Our guests loved the venue, the space to dance around, and the valet parking. Thank you Esha for making our special event wonderful towards the end.”

“The cafe at Wave Hill is very roomy, and there is quite a bit of variety for its size, though the food is not very remarkable. There are plenty of staff, who are fairly friendly, when I visited last they didn't have milk for my coffee which was disappointing, but they gave me almond milk. Oh and the view, it is spectacular in every season.”
