I needed to make a deposit to my investment account. As the Victor office had been closed due to Covid at the time of my last visit, I called Schwab’s 800 number (you cannot call the Victor office directly) and was told the only thing I could do was wait 24 to 48 hours for a return call. Therefore, I drove to the Victor office and was confronted with a most sarcastic, unprofessional receptionist. She refused to allow me to speak with anyone else. She told me if I didn’t want to make my deposit without speaking with someone in the office that was my “choice.” Really? As a result, I intend to change brokerage firms.
