We have been taking our cars to Craig Barrese for years. My recent experience is just one example of why. We had a sudden failure of the starter on our SUV just a day before we were to load it up and head out on a multi-week vacation. Craig diagnosed it over the phone and despite being booked out for several weeks said he would try to take a look at it if we could get it towed in. I called AAA and waited for a call back from the garage. When closing time came I called to get a status report. I was told that not only had they made time to look at it but we’re working overtime to finish up replacing the starter. I rushed over to pick up the car so they could go home. As I picked it up I was told that because they had no open bays in the garage, they had to work on it in the parking lot (despite some rain showers that afternoon.) Now that is what I call service above and beyond!

I find Pittsford Mobil to be very fair and honest. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable- they always take time to explain problems in detail. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.

I spent months at 3 different shops tossing thousands at my trucks symptoms... 3 hours at Pittsford Mobil and it was running like a Swiss watch... Electrical issue found and solved. John

The owner and his mechanics are fair, honest and do great work. If the quote is higher than the cost of the parts and work- they refund or don't charge the customer. They're always honest with their assessments and stand by their work. Thank you, PMS for being a gem!

These guys are the best! My truck broke down 2 hours from home and I went to them to see if it was safe to try and drive it home. They took it in and ran diagnostics on it and advised me to not drive it any further. They helped me arrange a tow truck to get it back to my mechanic and then helped me arrange a rental car. One of the guys even drove me to the rental car place! And they didn't charge me for anything! Customer service is 10+++++, they are so amazing! I would recommend them to everyone and am so pleased with their kindness and help. I was so stressed out about my truck breaking down and they were so patient and kind. Thank you soooo much for your assistance!

This is your basic and very honest hometown garage. Keep in mind that's why they're busy; they don't try to sell you service you don't need. And that's why you need to schedule appointments/ state inspections about 2 weeks in advance.

Discriminated against my friend due to her name and religion. Told her they would call her back after asking if she was Muslim and never returned her call. I would not recommend this garage to anyone ever. Racism and discrimination has no place in rochester. Do better

I was trying to make appointment to get my car inspected and when I started spelling my last name, the person on the other end of the line asked me if I was Muslim and when I said yes, he told me to call back to make an appointment. It’s pretty obvious that this place is not minority friendly. I felt unwelcome and discriminated against. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Me and my friend felt very unwelcome here. Would not recommend. There are plenty of other trustworthy and friendly and inclusive garages in rochester. Sad that this still happens in 2022
