Seriously understaffed. Always a long line to pick scripts. Today, I had a quick question for a pharmacist so I called. I am on hold and have been on hold for 30 minutes at this point. Ridiculous.

Jenny in the pharmacy department is wonderful. She has been helping me get a prescription approved. Jenny promised to make a few calls for me and she actually followed thru. She deserves a gold medal and a Raise. Clearly, the staff at this location is overworked and understaffed.

Consistently the worst CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. Pharmacy staff is overwhelmed and under trained. Takes at least 45 minutes to pick up a prescription because you first have to wait in line to pick up, find out that your order is incomplete, be told to wait in another line so you can tell a different person to enter in your remaining order, then be told to go back in the pickup line again to pick up the order. Unfortunately this scenario is the norm and not the exception. Avoid!

This review is in regard to the Pharmacy only. I have a diagnosis and have been prescribed a medication that is often on back order (due no fault of the pharmacy). Each and every month, I walk into the store not knowing if I am going to get my prescription but each and every time I walk in, I am met with the smiles of two amazing employees. These employees have worked with me and it is their professionalism, advice and most of all their patience that makes a difficult situation better. Thank you to the staff at the pharmacy.

Dirty-looking, disorganized, disgraceful. It always looks like they are getting ready to close upfor good.

This store has been filthy and poorly managed for way too long. All of the other CVS stores in our area have been remodeled and are clean. The other stores are fully stocked and items can be found easily. This store has had the same 3 gray bins blocking an aisle for months, nothing is ever on the shelves and the things that are there have just been tossed there. The rugs are stained and there is garbage on the floor. It looks like its just been running itself. The CVS on Jackson Avenue in Syosset and the other on South Oyster Bay Road are the complete opposite. This is not a new issue, I just finally have a few minutes to write a review. The store looks like it would be in violation of basic health code standards. Maybe a District Manager can get involved.

Worst cvs on Long Island. I’d give examples why but at this point, there’s too many. Go to bethpage cvs, not too far away and better all together.

The CVS in Plainview rarely has stocked shelves, when I ask for a product they bring 1 out and leave the shelf empty. I was told that the cash registers are no longer in use that we had to use self service. The associate had an attitude and was annoyed that I needed assistance because the items I was buying was buy 1 get one 50%off but they came up regular price. Again associate was annoyed! Finally I asked for a manager, who also couldn't get the self serve to work and low and behold she took me to one of the registers. Upon leaving I told the associate that she should check her attitude at the door, she was being paid to assist customers, she told me I should get a better attitude. Other customers agreed with me that the store is terrible and others said they go to the Bethpage CVS now but were here for convenience today...far from convenient!!! 5 thumbs down for the Plainview CVS!

Sorry MV but feels like every time I go to this store to buy a sale item they never have it in stock. Was experiencing this pre-COVID too. 9 out of 10 times visit store and leave empty-handed. Additionally, I don't care for the store's layout or vibe or something. Never pleasant being there. Weird. Could use a revamp or relocation out of strip mall (that has an awful parking lot!).

Women named Karen who was checking out at the register on Sunday, 1/3/2021 at 2:00 PM was the rudest person I have ever met in my life. She was angry with me for reminding her to apply the coupons I had given her. I made a purchase in the pharmacy so I had a long receipt of coupons and I attempted to use almost every coupon given to me. I did not rip them apart because all she would have to do was go down the receipt and scan each bar code since I used every single coupon. This was apparently very overwhelming for her, she incorrectly told me one of my coupons would not apply (which it did after I spoke to another sales clerk) and she made a scene telling me I should not expect personal service and raised her voice at me in front of a whole line of people. She then had an exchange with another customer online where they were mocking me and saying “2021 seems to be just like the old year.” Rudest person, not even just cashier I have ever dealt with in my life. If checking coupons is that overwhelming she should find a different career.

II have been using this CVS for many years and am very satisfied with this pharmacy. The main reason that I frequent this one is the pharmacists and the pharmacy aides. They know what they are doing, are pleasant and help you whenever they can. if you have medications that you regularly use, you rarely receive a different manufacturer. They have added a larger supply of groceries during this challenging year which is most convenient . They are very careful keeping their customers and employees safe during this pandemic. They wee giving flu shots in the front of the store under an awning when the weather was warm and they had a number of customers getting the flu shot. CVS has had for a long time the ExtraCard where when you check out, you get a zillion coupons. CVS has a new program, CarePass where you are charged $5 a month and each month you have $10 to use in the store. I find this program better for me than ExtraCard. With this, they have free RX delivery. There is no dollar amount that you have to spend. I gave this pharmacy 4 stars due to the narrow aisles.

Honestly they really need to be on the same page when it comes to prescription's. come on really??? It's CVS... this is why I prefer mom and pop stores. They know you better and are in touch with doctors. I'll just keep with toilet paper sales and cosmetics sales That's all I have to say.

The friendly plainview neighborhood CVS was charging $2 x 24 for a case of water in March during the pandemic. 48 bucks for a case of water. Nice company!
