The worst CVS I have ever been to. This is my local CvS at the moment and it is just conveniently located, however, having worked at CVS in the past and having used several CVS locations- by far this CVS always has an excuse for everything. It is always crowded, the pharmacy never have things in stock and even if they did, sometimes they say they dont so that they dont have to fill it right away and make you wait a weekebd or a week for it. They never pick up the phone, youll be on hold for over an hour until you give up. When a doctor sends a prescription in the morning, they dont even get to it for days. They say the contacted the doctor for refills or pre-approvals, but when you call the doctor office, they respond-never got anything. There is no such thing as quick fill here, literally takes hours because the queue is so long. In my past experience, I have worked in a high volume pharmacy with 3 techs, here they have at least 5 on staff and still backed up. What is the issue here- is it the staff? Is it the pharmacist? Or is it the stock items? Do better. As a community pharmacy this place is horrible!

I was traveling from out of town on work assignment and stopped by this location for some essentials. I was approached by Andrea and accepted her offer on her assistance on looking for a product. She suggested a product and by the way very pleased with it after using it. I enjoyed how patient she was and taking the time to help me. I wish that I could receive this type of customer service everywhere I go. Kudos to Andrea!! She was so sweet and informative!! I hope that she receives this recognition! ❤️

The CVS in Plainview, NY (Old Country Rd) is by far the Best! Everyone there is so friendly and professional. One of the cashiers (Cathy) is beyond helpful and so knowledgable! I give her 5 Stars, this employee is a tremendous asset to this organization! :)

Staff doesn’t know what they’re talking about, I believe that they even one time they even prescribed under the amount that the dr sent to them because I was missing milliliters on a medicine before which is UNHEARD OF! They’re so unprofessional I wouldn’t be surprised

I would not recommend this CVS the pharmacy never pickup when you call it takes one hour and more before someone even picks up. Never ever order your package from a store and put this CVS as your UPS access point to pick up your package because someone else can take your package and you never receive the package that happened to me I received an email that your package has been picked up when I didn’t pick up the package. You either just buy your stuff online and get delivered straight to your home.

Not sure if they are understaffed but one of the pharmacist is always throwing bags of medications, today he dropped a cap for medication container on the floor and just picked it up, closed the container and stapled bag shut! As a fellow healthcare provider I was mortified! The same pharmacist also gave me a 9 months supply of medication instead of 3month supply! I can't imagine what that does to the inventory! I returned the other 6months but he was insisting he was correct! And it was a prefilled 90 day supply! SMH....CVS management you need to do better!

I was in the area and needed to pick up some items and a new pair of cheap reading glasses. I found everything ok except the reading glasses which started at $20 and went up, Which is very high most of the time I pay around 10. The selection was lacking and did not have what I wanted. I got everything else I needed. There was literally no staff around to help customers. I sore a few people in pharmacy and one cashier and that was it. I would only go again if I was desperate and in the area again. The staff where polite and friendly.

Pharmacy is always busy! Now they close for half hour for lunch. They always help me when there's a problem with my meds. Recently gave me an emergency supply when they couldn't reach my doctor

Jenny and staff here are over worked and understaffed my heart goes out to them yet they are sooooo nice very professional.. Had a great experience here and they deserve more stars as they are rock stars they work so hard and treat people so kindly talk to you and most of all don't rush you they listen to what you have to say.. Hands down one of the best in the area go here stay away from the one in Bethpage unless you like being treated like and want staff to treat you like garbage.. Thank you Jenny and staff for helping me most of all for all your hard work and doing it with a smile

I really don't shop there I just use the pharmacy. It seems to be perpetually busy and don't forget about the half hour that they close for lunch, it leads to a big line when they reopen. The pharmacists have always been attentive and knowledgeable. My only concern is my doctors and this CVS always seem to point the finger at each other as to whether the prescription was sent / received. Also, don't bother calling, you'll be on hold forever! And for those of you who do shop there, they have gone to fully self checkout for those of you who can't stand that.
