I just had a haircut/trim, and I’m honestly shocked by the result. This is, without question, the worst haircut I’ve ever received.
For the past three weeks, I had been trying to book an appointment with a specific stylist. Every time I called, I was told she was unavailable or taking the day off, and I was repeatedly encouraged to see someone else. Eventually, I gave in and booked with another stylist — and this is what I ended up with.
The cut is uneven and poorly done. I had to go to another salon just to get it fixed. My strong suspicion is that the stylist I originally requested is no longer with the salon, and instead of being transparent, the staff kept redirecting me.
To the owner: if you employ stylists who are not capable of performing a basic haircut, please don’t offer those services. This experience was unacceptable — especially at $90 (including tip). I’ve never felt more disappointed walking out of a salon.
If you report my review to google, I will keep reposting it.

My mother-in-law came in after winning a $75 gift certificate from an event that Gloss donated to on April 30th. She went today, May 23, and they did not accept it. They said it expired on May 1 (the day after she won it). The gift certificate itself says it expires in June, but they said it was tampered with (pictured below- it does seem strange. But not something that was done on our end)
I’m giving two stars because they did a decent job, but they show no integrity by not accepting their own donated gift certificate.
If people want to go to a place where they are treated fairly, this might not be their best choice. We will not be back.

2 stars because blowout was fine and receptionist was polite otherwise if youre looking for quality highlights & a proper haircut do not come here. I asked to cut off two inches only & for caramel highlights and i left there with 6 inches cut off and ORANGE chunks. When i POLITELY, calmly requested to not be charged for the highlights three times even though i was truly upset, the owner refused and charged me full. I left unhappy, orange short hair and spent $385 on it no joke.

Look no further... Albert is the BEST by far... He has such an art for cutting, styling and color beyond compare! He has a fantastic personality and is very uplifting and makes you feel totally at home! Keep up the great work... you're amazing- PS You brought my Sexy back ;)

Just came from Gloss for a blowout and was lucky enough to get Donna. Not only was she very kind, friendly, and sweet but she was extremely knowledgable and talented and gave me the perfect blowout. I’m picky with how people do my hair, and I gave her little direction bc I trusted her immediately and Iet her to her thing. I looked like I walked out of the salon as if I was walking onto a movie set, it felt very glam. She was wonderful!!!

The vibes in this salon are perfect. Everyone is so friendly and the whole experience was very enjoyable. I had Donna do my hair and she did a wonderful job with the glaze and cut. Will definitely be revisiting every time I need my hair done. The pricing was also very reasonable considering the high quality products and luxurious experience. Diane is an also an amazing stylist.

I did something I have never done in my life. On a whim I decided to walk into a salon and get a trim and color without any research or referral. It could have gone so wrong but luckily I ended up with Donna. She knew exactly what I wanted. Worked efficiently and was a joy to talk to. I now live in LA but will definitely come back to NY to get my hair done by her!

Stylist: Donna was super attentive and did an amazing job on my cut and color. In addition, everyone at the salon was so personable and professional. I highly recommend Donna and this wonderful salon
