We toured several preschools for our then 16 month old daughter. When we walked into Good Shepherd Lutheran School, the staff were very warm and the school itself was inviting. After learning about their infant and toddler programs, we left knowing we found the right place. Our daughter is now 3 and will be moving from the toddler class to the nursery class. Good Shepherd toddler program with Ms. Mimi and Ms. Dina has provided a fun, educational and caring environment for her. The staff members are excellent, creative, and highly skilled. It is very evident the staff love what they do, and they pour their hearts into the children daily. Our daughter has emerged and grown so beautifully under their tutelage, to which we are beyond grateful. In addition, the front office staff are also excellent. They are very thorough, proficient, and excellent communicators regarding logistics and business matters, etc. It is clear to us, the school is very professional and well-run. If possible, we would give even more stars!

What an amazing year to my daughter!Last year, we visited few Pre K school and decided send my daughter to Good Shepherd Pre K program. We loves their classroom , music room, and gym room. We feel this is a safe and comfortable zone for our princess. All the teachers and staffs are nice, patient, exciting, and full with energy to kids! Other class teachers know my daughter as well. Good shepherd is like second home to my daughter. My daughter always exciting goes to school and play with other kids. She enrolled Busybee pre-K Miss.Breanna's class. Their ratio is like 1:6-8. They had one teacher and three assistant in their class. My daughter learned English, Letters , Numbers ,and independent from the school . School has music teacher teach them singing and music playing. They have a lot of fun in the school. They also do a lot of hand craft in the school. Teacher will put their craft to bag and send home daily .Specially the craft on Mother's Day, it's killing me. I guess the teacher ask my daughter those information and write it for her. So Silly but funny! You can also send your kids to their Amazing Athletes or soccer shots after school program 3-3:45 pm one day but weekly. I sent my daughter to both programs. She loves both!School teacher usually post kids school pictures in the app or Facebook . You can chat with teacher or staff about your kids or ask questions on the app. They respond all the questions and concerns so fast . Parents meeting 2-3times for school year. Just keep tracking your kids process. Many school events during school like photography day, field day, Fall festival (ride horse, win basket, dance, ballon dog, pumpkin patch.. etc) ' Valentines dance, Outdoor movie night...The only thing is they don't offer lunch in the school. So, we have to prepare lunch and three snacks time for our kids. That's easy . About 10-15mins every morning and cook my daughter's favorite food, like hot dog, corn dog, dumplings,or sushi. I mean a good school and fair tuition is important than anything. In Pre-K graduation ceremony, the kids sing many songs that learned during this year. They are so professional on the stage.Totally surprised me! We believe teachers put lot of good work on them. It's not easy to 4-5yrs old kids. After the ceremony , I decided to send my daughter to their Splash Summer Camp for four weeks. It's 8 weeks summer camp program but they are very flexible and you can select the week you like for summer camp. We will go to few vacations so I only send her four weeks summer camp. Good shepherd's summer camp is also fun! They have theme everyday and write it on your monthly calendar. My daughter loves DJ Dance party, Tie-Dye Day(beautiful tie-dye t-shirts!), Petting zoo , Stuff on animal(got a duck plush she made in school) . We loves free pizza every Thursday ( I don't need to cook) and my daughter HAPPY! Sorry, I know I wrote a thousand words. Hope my experience is helpful to other parents. In future, I will recommend my friend come to Good shepherd. Actually , I recommended already. Her daughter loves good shepherd and don't cry for going to school.

All one has to do is walk through Good Shepherd School and you will know this is the place for your special child. At Good Shepherd each child is valued as a special creation of God. Having infant care though nursery programs, this special time of a child's life is spent in a loving/caring environment. In addition to a top drawer NYS accredited academic program and full OCFS license, Good Shepherd provides one more key experience: FAITH BASED programs where children learn how special they are as God's child...loved in everyway. All faith communities are welcome and respected. Children experience the love of God through classroom activities, chapel services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and various community service projects. There simply is no other school or day care program like it. At Good Shepherd SPECIAL is how the children are valued because the teachers care deeply about each child, and provide that extra care that comes from knowing God values and loves them too.

Good Shepherd has been so beneficial to my 2 1/2 year old. The teachers are well-trained, dedicated and caring. The curriculum is educational, fun and effective. It's a very warm, friendly and nurturing atmosphere for the kids, as well as the parents. Another parent and myself assisted with a party and were AMAZED at how well-behaved and cooperative the children were. Just a week ago I heard my kid trying to sing God Bless America and recite the Pledge of allegiance! :-) I did visit a few pre-schools in the area and Good Shepherd was the only one that I felt comfortable sending my daughter to.

Good Shepherd is a excellent school. I have two children that currently attend and one that graduated from Good Shepherd. The teachers and staff are so warm and caring. The program provides a great balance of academic and social-emotional growth. I highly reccomend Good Shepherd.

We absolutely LOVE Good Shepherd! It is very hard to find a school that is both nurturing and educational and they have done it perfectly. It is affordable, they offer before and after care and the classrooms are organized and structured. We love that they are set up just like the kindergarten and first grade classrooms in the area so the children get used to that kind of environment. The classrooms are so spacious, they have a separate gym, library and two fenced in playgrounds. Between the STEM program, Art class, Gym class, Music class, Movement class and iPads and SmartTable in every room, my daughter is truly blossoming and reaching her full potential. Most importantly, she is excited and eager to go to school everyday!
