Lots of stuff as packed into one place. Life is easy when you get it all, then there are days you don't

This place has the best fish market for miles. The only issue is getting a parking spot! Also: If you go on Sunday the fish market isn't setup until 8am.

I’m m a truck driver and I delivered a load of beef to them. They took about 45 minutes to unload 11 pallets. Pretty quick. I don’t know about overnight parking.

The meat looks terrible . None of meat is wrapped properly . The packaging leaks and the meat smells and looks terrible. The chicken is even worse. The fruits and vegetables are moldy and just piled on top of more moldy produce. The quality of the food is terrible here.

Most items are more expensive than supermarkets. Most of the time it's hard to park. They have a great fish market.

After 5 years, I decided to do grocery yesterday because the price is fair. I will give only 2 stars because the cashier was very nice and polite but Why!!!! I’m not sure how can this happened, very close to get my kids sick. Never going there. The fruits and vegetables are not fresh all. Especially the meat section all the meats are pale. Please have your employers to do much better to maintain the fruits and vegetables more fresh and Throw everything if it’s rotten.

Buyers beware! I was frequent shopper there even though they accept just cash or debit card but last time I was there I was charged for item that I didn't get. I called them few times and nobody answered. I also sent them email but no response as well. Unbeliveable that business doesn't respond to emails or phone calls - probably because this js not the first time that they overcharged their customer and this is probably the reason why they only accept debit cards or cash! I will never go back again and, my advice for everybody else, be careful!

I visit the store regularly. Their produce fresh or many times better than other stores have to offer in the surroundings, and prices are mostly fair. Fish is fresh, and so is meat, especially if you are getting something from the butcher. With some promotions, you might even hit the "jackpot."Stuff is mostly friendly, and so is the management.I only have one thing they need to work on, and that would be: system updates are not really done on a regular basis...?

Good produce at great prices. This the only store that fills up my car full of fruits and vegetables for under $100. I drive 30 minutes just to get here because it saves so much money.

I bought two beef tenderloins and when I opened the vaccuum sealed bag, i caught a smell of the ransed beef. The smell got worse and worse by the second. The store always smells like fish, meaning the fish is covered in bacteria. Dont trust any meat or fish you buy here. Luckily i got a refund, employees are polite.

John's Farm fish, beef steaks, ground beef, and pork sausage are among the best in Nassau County. Large selection of fish, beef, pork, veal, and chicken. And all fresh. Good selection of fruits and vegetables. I find the tomatoes, eggplant, broccoli, and broccoli rabe are fresh and very good. There always is an ample supply. They also stock good pasta; Divella, Dececco, and other brands, most of the time on sale. If you are a cheese lover, this is the place for you with fresh domestic and imported cheese. The deli section is great with some fresh cooked foods and salads, I especially like the vegetable Cole slaw. They also have Italian panettone and chocolates and candies. I've been coming here for years, and I'm never disappointed. The only thing to put up with is that it is a small grocery store, and it can get crowded with tight isles, so moving around in the store can be annoying.

Have shopped here on and off for the past 10 years. They have evolved to a store I have traveled over 30 minutes to get to. Their meats (steaks, lamb, chicken) is rightly priced and never a disappointment. I have asked the butcher (even on a very busy Saturday-the craziest day there) for specific steaks with the right amount of marbeling and have received or honestly been told why they don't have what I'm looking for. Today I was looking for a Veal chop and told that they don't have them. Other butcher's have tried to sell me whatever they have on the floor. If John's Farms has it, and it's not on the floor, they will get it for me and cut it the way I like it. The fish market is fast moving and I have eaten their Scallops, Lemon Sole, Salmon, Shrimp, Snapper, and much more and it's always been fresh. The deli has delicious prepared foods, store made cold cuts as well as boar's head, amazing cheeses and a great bakery. I go here specifically for produce; where else can you get fresh (not boxed) Arugula, fresh Culantro, and all produce equal to or better than anywhere else. This is a win-win and a trip for me every week, but totally worth it!

The fruit and vegetables were beautiful. I didn't have a chance to go through the whole store, but everything I looked at was great, and the cheese and the olives, what a great variety.
