I've seen some bad reviews so I'll just share my experience.
I hate needles and was anxious about going but when I arrived I didn't wait long and the staff was very helpful. The phlebotomist who drew my blood was very kind, I didn't get her name. When I was done I felt very hot and she took care of me, gave me some water and an ice pack and made sure I felt ok before leaving.

Editing a year later to share: I just left and had the BEST experience ever! The woman who drew my blood was an absolute sweetheart. I didn't feel the needle, and she was so fast, I was shocked! I love coming here and refuse to go anywhere else!
I just left the lab and had a fantastic experience. I don't do well with blood work so I was very nervous but had no reason to be! I was greeted warmly by two people, and brought back quickly. The gentleman drawing my blood was an absolute sweetheart. He joked around with me the whole time and kept me calm, and was a pleasure to talk to. I'll absolutely be coming back here for any lab work that I need!

I had a very unpleasant experience at the LabCorp location in Plainview. The customer service was extremely poor. The staff was rude and unhelpful, making the entire visit quite uncomfortable. I expected a certain level of professionalism and courtesy, but unfortunately, it was lacking. I would not recommend this location to anyone based on my experience.

If I could give them a zero, I would. Extremely unhelpful unsympathetic people.

Please add more employees! It’s not fair to your employees and patients! Staff is overwhelmed and it is inefficient!

I just had the most amazing experience at this Lab Corp. location! Alissa was super friendly and made the whole process very enjoyable. She made me laugh and was very gentle. I did not feel a thing! The lady at the desk was also great and made check in a breeze. Very professional! This is definitely my new place to have blood drawn!

The single worker was very nice, but LabCorp needs to add more employees. I waited hours because there was no available appointments and one employee was doing all the work. It's concerning when considering the possibility of medical errors occuring due to this understaffing. Hope to see better at other locations.

Typically I will drive thirty minutes to come to this location specifically for Jamila. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is efficient, kind and wildly skilled at drawing blood, and I am a very very hard stick. She is just incredible, as a receptionist and a phlebotomist and she’s typically the only one running the show.
However, today she was not there, another lady was. I waited nearly 40 minutes for absolutely nothing. I have not been feeling well and needed blood work done, so I came as a walk-in at this location. There was one person already seated, I checked in and then two people came in after me. The lady at front desk, (who told me twice she was the only person working there which has been the case every single time I’ve come to this location and like I’ve said Jamila is AMAZING), brought one of the people who came in after me in the back. I, confused, went up to her showing her my script, she said for me to sit down and wait and that she was the only one there. Once she was done with that patient, I went up showing her my script again, she said she was the only one there and she needed to take the people who actually made appointments first.
Had she told in the first place she needs to take appointments first then walk-ins, I would have left instead of wasting 40 minutes. And while I am sympathetic for her being the only one working there, When people are not feeling well, the last thing they want is someone rude wasting their time.

How do you have one person working at this location? Most people come early because they fast for bloodwork so common sense or business sense would say have more people working. There are 3 rooms.
I walked in because no appointments available online thinking it could be a long but realistic wait but line was out the door I was 8 people down and once I found out 1 person was working I left at 7:40 and so far 2 hours later have not received a text saying I’m ready for my appt

Horrible, the person who drew the baby's blood was very annoying. That girl needs help because if she is doing such a delicate job, she needs more patience with the children because she would not like them to treat her and yell at her children. Very bad. experience

Two of the phlebotomists at this location are so skilled that you won’t feel the needle go in. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, you’ll be hard pressed to find more than one person running the entire show and that causes multiple issues, especially when you advertise yourself as a walk-in lab. You have ONE PERSON handling both appointments and walk-ins?! Not just that; one person cannot possibly check people in, run their insurance, take their blood, send out specimens, and then sanitize the space after they take the specimen without at some point either burning out or worse, making a critical mistake. Forget about trying to maintain customer service. That’s a lot on one person in a medical-type setting. On this particular occasion, I had an appointment which required fasting, but for weeks all they had available was 10 AM or later. I took a 10:30 AM. I got there at 8:15 AM hoping I could just wait as a walk-in because I’m anemic and fasting until 10:30 AM might mean fainting when they draw blood. There was a father with two kids and another guy waiting there already; no seats. I checked in with my license at the self-service kiosk, figuring it’s like a walk-in. I wait. The tech takes the two appointments before me. I finally get a seat and I’m alone figuring “great - I’ll be next”. At around 9:15 AM, a man walks in and intercepts her at the desk to check in as she was walking back from the screaming little girl she just had to deal with. He says he’s early and that he’s the 10 AM. Two appointments walk in after him that I assume were before us, because suddenly I got moved down to 4th on appt screen. The tech starts to take the third lady who walked in after I’d been waiting an hour before ANY of these people even walked through the door! That’s not okay. The system should at least show that I checked in as a walk-in or something that indicates my wait time. When I mentioned this to her, she asked my appointment time and said that the three other people who walked in after me all have appointments. It makes me wonder how it would’ve gone had I made no appointment at all. Either way, it’s not acceptable on multiple levels. I walked out.

I had my blood drawn by Iqbal at this location and I wish I could give him 100 stars! I am typically a "hard stick" and usually get poked 2 or 3 times before they find a good vein! He got me on the first try and it was absolutely painless, I had to double check that the needle had even gone in ?Highly recommend Iqbal!!!
