I have used Plainview Auto Care now for a few years due to recommendations by my friends. I have found them to be honest, reliable, and accommodating. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. I highly recommend them.

Failed my car because the front brake pads were bad. Took the car home and replaced the pads myself. These are the pads that he told me were bad. NYS says a fail is when you have metal to metal contact. These weren't even close to that. The squeelers weren't close to rotor yet. He should have said they are halfway worn and suggested replacing within the next year. He lost my confidence as a reputable shop owner. He also collected my $37

Note that paying by credit or debit card incurs a surcharge at this business. The last time I brought my car in and paid in cash, I was shortchanged by the man behind the counter.
Honesty is important to me, so that was enough to make this regular customer take her business elsewhere.

Best place to get your car taken care of on Long Island. Jason and his team are fast, prompt, and above all, honest. I completely trust them to take care of what needs to be done on the car and not push unneeded repairs. They also offer some of the lowest prices.

I warn u, do not go to this place! I went there for an state inspection, it was an drop off, they called me back like an hour telling me my car have this and that big safety issue, and the repair will cost me 550, the inspection did not pass! I spoke to my husband the issues they mentioned was just replaced last year, they are brand new unlike what they said its old and worn out! So I told them we are not doing anything to it, they wanted 37 for the inspection fee! But when I ask for the ticket, they dont even have it, They did not even run my car in the machine! All the issues they told me was just trying to rip me off on top of inspection! I believe inspection does not bring them any profit! But come on, dont rip off your neighbor like that! This is horrible!

Stopped in this morning with low tire pressure from the cold weather. Nice young man filled all my tires for me. Have always experienced excellent service at this shop. Happy Holidays!!

Went there with a clicking sound when I turned. They called an hour later and told me the front axel needed replacement and the car was dangerous to drive. Pressured me to repair right away. Found out why. The real problem was a worn out boot. Was going
to cost $1400, but cost me $450 at a reputable shop. Then they charged me $1800 for brakes ( all wheels) and an oil change. I've used this shop for over 20 years. It's a shame they have become a total ripoff. They've lost any business from me. You should dump them as well.

Rouge place, they promised to do the inspection for me in 3 hours, I wait for 3 hours but they didn’t even touch my car. Waste of my time. And I saw if you are white customers , your inspection really is way quicker, highly recommend white customers to do inspections here, and this place is absolutely not welcoming Asian people like me.
