“For the holidays, we had our company party here. For starters, the room was beautiful! The decor and esthetics were so cozy and warm, including the windows viewing the premises. We had a lunch brunch, and ever tasted delicious. The staff was very friendly. As for coordinating the party, a lovely woman by the name of Lori was my main contact. Lori was beyond helpful and kind, and truly went above and beyond. I cannot thank the entire team enough. We look forward to coordinating future events with Heritage.”

“This review is for Cold Spring Harbor Country Club...not Oheka Castle. Situated around the gorgeous landmark, this course is well kept, has some good length and offers beautiful views/photo opportunities with the castle in the backdrop. Since the course runs down from castle there is a decent amount of undulation (hills) which make for a challenge with uneven lies and breaking putts on the greens. The staff is amazing from the pro shop and caddies to the dining room staff and maintenance workers. 10/10 country club experience. Definitely recommend playing/visiting if you're fortunate enough to have the opportunity.”

“We had a great time visiting with our 5 year old son. There were plenty of interactive exhibits to keep him entertained and engaged the entire time we were there. Every single room had buttons to press that controlled different things that related to aviation and space. I also was able to chat with a docent for 10 minutes to learn more about the history of aviation on Long Island. Such a neat history and what an awe inspiring collection of planes and historical relics this place has!! They also have two actual moon rocks in this place as well as memorabilia from Apollo 13 and other space ships!!”

“Today I visited the Planting Fields Arboretum for the Long Island Orchid Society show! I've been to this beautiful space several times in the past, but not in the past decade. So I was very excited to see all my favorite flowers in one place, so many unbelievably gorgeous varieties and representations of orchids!!Once the show was over, we walked the grounds to the greenhouse, undoubtably one of my favorite places on Long Island. One step inside and you're in the middle of a warm, comfortable natural smelling wonderland. There are rooms of cactus, orchids, bromeliads, and the main attraction: the central greenhouse. I spotted banana and my "come-back" plant, and so many beautiful living things. Honestly I didn't want to leave, but I foolishly forgot to bring a water bottle.The orchid show ends tomorrow, but the Arboretum is open every day. When (not if) you go, please say hello to the plants for me--they'll enjoy your carbon dioxide!”

“We recently had our wedding here and I cannot say enough good things.-To start, John and his team went above and beyond to ensure the most perfect day possible. John was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding in our correspondence, and in person in our planning meetings he was beyond helpful and had great insight. Our bridal attendant Abbey was a delight, the staff (from the valet to the servers) were absolutely wonderful. Our friends and family raved about the attention to detail in service, as well as the food.-Now for the food- I am a bit biased but without a doubt the best wedding food I have ever had, and our guests have been non-stop raving about it as well. Everything was fresh, lots of seasonal & dietary choices, and truly delicious.-This venue may not be for everyone stylistically, but it is truly like walking into a fairytale at night and the vibes were above and beyond what we were hoping for. It feels like you're walking into a small scale "Newport Mansion" type home with plenty to see, and the dining room and dance floor had just the right amount of "new" yet rustic feel to not seem out of place.We could NOT have been happier with this venue and I have received non-stop compliments from every guest raving about the uniqueness, the service, and the food. Everyone we know has said this might have been the best wedding they'd ever been to--- and we credit that all to John and the Coindre Hall Team. If you're looking for a unique and high quality venue look no further than Coindre Hall!”

“Best night ever. The Best of the BEST! We had our 165 guest wedding at Memorare this past weekend and to say that they made all of our dreams come true when it comes to what we envisioned, would be an understatement!!! From our initial interaction with Barry to our monthly meetings with Corri (because I was ALOT), they listened to everything we wanted and they certainly delivered. The staff were ALL phenomenal (especially Jennifer) and the food was AMAZING!!!! The past two days we've been receiving glowing reviews from our guests like "best wedding ever" & "what a great venue & event". “Best Party Place we've done so far!! Our party planner was so sweet and great with kids. She set up our party room beautifully with our decorations. “So so happy I checked this place out! I live only about four blocks away but I just assumed it was a kids birthday party place. WRONG! They do everything- holiday themed events, kids camp, even walk ins. And it's not just a creative craft done either. They have open play, story time,a bubble dance party, and do some sensory play as well. The lady working was super nice, patient, and had a great positive vibe. The price was fantastic too! ( I paid $19 for an hour a half) and my kid did not want to leave. I coordinated with a mom from the school he goes too and we all got a coffee down the block then just got to watch and enjoy them playing and learning. I say the best age group for this is 2-6 maybe?? But that's just the event we went to, definitely check it and follow their insta. I'll be back regularly.”

The whole process was just as important as the planning everything for that night and both went off without even a hiccup, the staff was great and the food was amazing. “Great venue not too big, has a revolving stage, easy to get to off the parkways. The only negative are the horrible parking attendants. There is simply no need for them. Why do they insist on speaking to the driver of each car coming in? Slows down the entry for no reason. Just let people park where they want to.”

“Had a 70th birthday surprise party here and it was perfect! We booked this location for the inside/outside combo and it did not disappoint. We paid to have use of the outdoor area/bar (TV included for Sunday Football!) and had a band play. The tents outside were big enough to hold guests under during a brief rain and the grass area was amazing for the kids to run around and play. Linda was very easy to communicate with and our guests are still talking about how great it was.”

“AMAZING! My daughter wanted an all girls spa type birthday party. This party went WAY beyond all my expectations. I wasn’t sure if the party would work for my soon to be 9 year old. Wow! From the mani/pedis to the hair styling , to the fashion show and dance party. Everything was a massive hit with the girls. They handled absolutely everything. I just needed to bring the cake and the space is stunning ! There was even a room for my 4 year old son to play in! Staff were lovely. Can’t say enough! “We just had our wedding here last night and it was the most incredible venue ever!!!! To start - our sales manager was Mindy and we cannot say enough great things about her. From the start she helped us navigate a 300 person wedding with kindness and patience. She always answered our emails and questions immediately. She made sure we got everything we wanted and more!!!! Edgar and Janet were amazing additions. They managed to flip the ballroom from a ceremony space to a reception space in less than 80 minutes and it was seriously incredible. No one even knew that it was the same room!! The food was top notch, bar tenders were INCREDIBLE, staff was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better day. This wedding cannot be beat and that is because of this incredible venue and people. If you're considering the Heritage Club don't hesitate !!!! Just to top off how amazing everyone was - the father of the brides tux button popped off and immediately the bridal attendant sewed if on without hesitation like nothing ever happened.”

Clean throughout the premises. Only had a chance to try the lemon Chicken. Lightly floured and made properly, accompanied with Vegetables and whipped potatoes. The staff was very nice and helpful.
