I went in to help my technically-challenged father upgrade his phone from 1982. The man working there, John O. (according to our receipt) was exceptional. Someone called out of work, so he was alone at the store with no fewer than 5-6 people there, none of whom had a quick purchase/request. He managed to multi-task, make everyone feel welcome and attended to, and answered questions calmly and kindly for several elderly customers in a humble way that created connection rather than making them feel incompetent. He had the patience of a saint with everyone, including my one year old. I never take time to write a review, but I hope someone reads this, because this man deserves a bonus! And as someone who does corporate training , he’d be a great peer trainer or customer service trainer!

The manager Jordan was extremely professional and efficient. He diagnosed my problem quickly and had me out the door satisfied.

I went in yesterday and Jordan (Plattsburgh NY store) was extremely helpful. He explained the difference between the phones I was interested in. Also, was able to add another line for my daughter. She really wanted an iPhone and Jordan told me about an amazing deal. Usually switching phones is difficult, but Jordan was very knowledgeable and the process was seamless.

I had the worse customer service experience today. My son locked himself out of his android phone so we went to get help. Jordan Y was our representative. First I was told we would have to go online and do a factory reset at home because he didn’t have a computer to be able to help me. I’m not a tech person. I’d never figure that out so I decided just to buy a new phone. This guy never left his seat. I had several questions about the available phone and had to keep going back and forth from the phones to the table. Each time I did this he was engaged in conversation with the co-worker and other customers at the table next to us. I had to wait several minutes for him to realize I was right in front of him waiting. I was going to upgrade my phone also but decided I’d wait and go to a different store. When we were finished he didn’t say anything to indicate the transaction was completed. No have a nice day or thank you for using AT&T, NOTHING! So I waited another 10 minutes while he continued his ongoing conversation with the people at the other table. As someone who works in customer service myself I was completely disgusted with visit today.

The manager Chris is rude and not very friendly. Yes I called him out. The regular staff are great people to work with. I'll even suggest to ATT to get a new manager. I went back to turn in my trade in and he was so cold and not so friendly. I'll probably find another att store to deal with in the future if I can't get one of the regular staff to assist me.

I went in to be added to my sisters plan and to trade in my very old and sad iPhone 7. Eric helped us out immediately, got me situated in everything I needed and all during mine and my sisters one hour lunch break. Eric was very knowledgeable about the products and had answers to all of my questions. I've never had such a great experience getting situated in a new phone and am happy to be a new ATT customer. I ended my lunch break holding a new iPhone 14, a durable case, screen protector and couldn't be happier :)

I highly recommend AT&T, but not at the Plattsburgh store. The Plattsburgh store is owned by an authorized retailer Prime Communications. It is NOT owned by AT&T corporate. A simple Google search for "Prime Communications reviews" will give you an idea of how Prime conducts themselves professionally.

Still waiting to have an employee help me, been here for 50 minutes. There are 2 workers and each has been with their customer for this whole time...This business sucks.The employees are great, it's not their fault.

This store is NOT owned by AT&T. it is an authorized retail location owned by Prime Communications. Simply Google "Prime Communications reviews" if you want to know what this company is all about and how they treat people.

Twice I have been in there and only one person working. The first guy sounded like a robot and said to every "I'm the only one working if you will have a seat"... in the most monotone voice from Ben Stein as Uber Dork economics teacher in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".Could have asked us hey what do you need and served us quickly as all I needed was a SIM card swap to get my hotspot working. Instead I waited an hour while he was screwing around trying to get 2 lines ported from a customer who left AT&T to go to an MVNO and then wanted to be ported back. The couple made the mistake they could be told nicely to come back when it was not so bust to deal with their foolishness!The second time I we were told the same thing but after 15 minutes some young kid showed his face and his answer to my simple prepaid hotspot question was to call the 800# I was able to get the answer no thanks to any of the people in the store. Seriously HIRE ME because the help is worthless, uniformed, and can't prioritize tasks to save their lives! Instead the older gentlemen was more worried over a few kids swearing rather than getting the kid in the back to help people who were waiting!
