Just picked up my taxes. I was extremely stressed filing later than normal this year, the guy I normally go to being on vacation and having a hard time getting my pin from the IRS. I went to H&R block last minute they got me in no problem when I finally received my pin to file and Tracy was SO incredibly helpful! I appreciate her getting me in and filed before crunch time and relieved so much stress! THANK YOU TRACY! I will be back and can not recommend enough for the ease during a normally stressful time of year

I work doordash as a side gig and I thought going through H&R Block would give me my highest tax return, boy was I wrong. Last year I went through them made less money than I did this year on doordash and had to pay in approximately $3500. The people here don't know how to file taxes correctly, and you are way better to just follow the instructions on turbo tax. The people at H&R Block never filed the taxes correctly, and they never deducted the miles from driving, and they wouldn't let me claim my significant other who doesn't work, which I did all on turbotax this year. Then H&R block charged me over $400 just to file their mistakes which put me in debt. 0/10 don't recommend. Did my taxes myself this year on TurboTax, paid $190 something dollars, and turbotax ended up getting $200 back on my taxes, so instead of having to pay in $3500 I received $10.

Stay away. Said I had emerald advance I didn’t have. Told it was from 2008. I dealt with them for over a week and half when they took the money out of taxes. Then magically a form from 2009 appears and was told my current address is listed on it. Well I didn’t move here until 2019. I can’t wait to see this form. Be negative stars if possible. Neither of the company’s were very helpful. Don’t bother giving me the sorry for your experience and giving me a call center number which is useless.

H&R Block Plattsburgh, NY is The BEST!!! Carl King is super quick and makes tax return time so easy to sign, file & pay - no mess! No "Clean up in aisle 7" I never have to worry and that is priceless.

After using them for 35 years, this year I had to contact them 3 times before they released my returns to State and Federal. I called twice asking about my returns, then went to the office before they released the returns, 3 weeks after the forms were completed. I have used the Plattsburgh office for the past 6 years and will not be using them again.

My parents have went here for over 20 years with Mr. Brown and have never had a problem. My sister and I went for the first time by ourselves this year with high hopes and we were completely let down by the unprofessionalism in that office. I’m not sure if it was because we were young or what but they have lost our business and my parents as well. I want to say our tax preparer Barbara was professional and felt completely embarrassed for us I could tell. It was snowing today and the office decided they were going to close early. We were in the middle of our appointment when an older woman that worked there came and interrupted our appointment and asked if we were paying out of pocket or out of our refund. Barbara and I had to tell her TWICE we wanted to pay out of pocket. She said that made her sad and made sure to imply it was inconvenient and say they wanted to close their POS system so they could leave early. The whole rest of the appointment all we heard was loud screaming and giggling and even Barbara said they sounded like school girls. Once our appointment was done we walked out to the lobby where all the workers were at the desk waiting for us. One worker was in her socks. They asked for our cards and were rude and rushing us. We go to leave and my sister and I bump into each other at the door because they locked it to leave faster. I have never ever experienced such unprofessionalism in my entire life. I don’t know if it was because we were the only people in there and young but it was unacceptable. I refuse to go somewhere where the office staff act like clowns and make me feel unwanted there as a paying customer.

Serina Agoney at the Plattsburgh location is the absolute best! She made the process of filing taxes more bearable, she's attentive and answered all of our questions. She was very professional and we look forward to seeing her again next year!
