I called in today and spoke with Eric in service. I told him I was looking for rear brakes and axel seals to be replaced. Eric, asked me three questions. Did you buy your vehicle here? No! Have we serviced your vehicle? No! what year ie your jeep? 2009! I was informed my Jeep was to old for them to work on.I have never been turned away at a dealership. at the least Eric could have tried to sell me a new vehicle.

Brought my car in for an oil change and state inspection. As they were pulling my car in I could hear the tech revving it for no reason. Checked my dashcam and yep he was just randomly revving it while pulling in. After the inspection and oil change was done I went out to my car and both of the factory side skirts were pulled off the body at the front and slightly on the rear on the passenger side. Spoke with the service advisor was told it would be fixed on the reinspection as the car failed because emission monitors weren’t ready. Then I get in my car and realize it was left in neutral with no handbrake set. Later I popped the hood to check on something and noticed my entire intake was covered in oil and grease. It was spotless before.
Come back a week later for a reinspection and they “fixed” the side skirts. There is double sided tape showing in both sides and they’re already pulling off the body.
No random revving this time but my car was again left in neutral with no park brake set. Free to roll around the parking lot but thankfully it didn’t. And a couple days later I realized when they took my phone mount off the windshield to put the inspection sticker on they broke it to the point where it’s unable to hold my phone in the mount.
This has been the worst dealership experience I’ve had.

I dropped my truck off on February 27th due to a check engine light coming on. The service manager called me the very next day(the 28th which was great) to inform me that my truck needed a egr cooler. I gave them my warranty information and was told that the warranty company was going to overnight the part needed. I would assume that nissan would ask for a tracking number to track the package but that didn't happen. I called the on the 29th and was told still no part, so I was like ok I will call back on Friday the 1st. Friday the 1st I called back and was told again still no part. Then I decided to call the warranty company myself just to be told to call nissan back because the warranty company is having a hard time finding the part. Nissan would have known if they had a tracking number or would have called back to ask were the part was. For the second time I had to call around to find the part for my truck and send nissan the information to order the part. I received an email stating they were able to get the part for my truck but instead of overnighting the part they decided to have it shipped to them in 3 to 5 days. My truck has there for almost 2 weeks now and still no communication on what's going on with my truck. I am not impressed one bit with the service i have been receiving from nissan at all. This is not how business is done.

Is it possible to find a good service department these days? The website and many signs say they still have the “express lane” left work early to get an oil change just to find out they “haven’t had that in about a year”. Made an appointment for the next day at 3pm. They call me at 2pm to tell me they had a cancellation and could get me in sooner, I said perfect I’ll be right there. Long story short I didn’t end up getting out of there till after 4pm for an oil change. Not to mention that cost $100. Double what it did a couple years ago. Yea i know stuff has went up, but you can still buy an oil change kit for the same price you could a couple years ago. I’ll take my business elsewhere or do it myself next time, unreal. Not to mention 4 salesman in the showroom while I was walking around and not a one of them said a word to me or got off their phone the entire time I was there. Hoped things would change when it sold, guess not.

I had my 2012 Jeep Wrangler towed to the Huttig service center because of a seized engine. I was spending the weekend away from NYC and enjoying upstate New York with my wife. I thought that being at a Jeep Dealership would mean that they would be competent and experienced. I patiently waited 3 months for the engine to be swapped and a clutch to be installed. After I picked up my Jeep, I drove back to NYC. When I stopped for gas I noticed a massive oil leak. Thankfully, I was able to make it back to NYC and took my Jeep to my mechanic. They quickly discovered that it was missing the bolt that connects the seal between the engine and the transmission (rear main seal bolt). My mechanic even took a picture. I contacted the service manager Lisa, (she never called me back), but after a week got her on the phone. Lisa said that the engine was probably installed and if it was missing a bolt, it’s not because of the installation process at fault. I could not believe it. My mechanic said that any one working on the engine and transmission should be aware if a bolt is missing. STAY AWAY FROM HUTTIG SERVICE CENTER!

Visiting area when Jeep had issue. Very fortunate they fit us in late Friday for diagnostic and got us repaired and back on road early Monday morning. All service departments are currently stressed for parts and people but the service of Lisa Gonyo and maintenance staff was great with friendly people and accommodations while waiting.

The service team is very untrustworthy. How exactly do you “not get any deliveries for 1.5 weeks” but magically my part arrived 5 days ago when I asked for the part number to order cheaper online?
