Excellent, helpful, and friendly service from stockers to cashiers to pharmacists to store manager. I’m sorry for whatever frustrating situation leads to some negative reviews, but my experiences have been very positive. It’s great to have this store in the neighborhood!

The look of the place was great but the thing thst got me was the older lady with short hair was extremely rude. I was trying to make conversation with her and completely ignored me and acted like she hated her job. If you don't like your job then quit.

I have to go there once a month for one Rx. only (my local one doesn't stock this Rx.) and always have had a good experience at the pharmacy plus the front checkout. The store is very well maintained. Brian (pharmacist) is extremely helpful and friendly. Great place to go and no negative things to say of.

If I could give a negative review I would. They never get the prescription right, they have no customer service skills and have no problem outright giving you an attitude for no reason. Never using them again.

I can only assume meds are shipped in from another galaxy, make sure you order meds at least a week or two before they run out, takes that long to get them filled.

They Don't take the time to look up you're insurance so be prepared to pay out of pocket. Not to mention their staff is extremely rude and condescending

I called and checked when I prescription would be ready as the dr had already called to verify that the Kinney’s at 6 Veteran’s Lane. I was told 30 to 40 minutes. I asked if there was any way to get it sooner as my partner had just had surgery. The technician did apologize and said they were very busy today and it would be at least 30 minutes. When we went to pick up the prescription we were told it would be another hour and the pharmacist, Jennifer, was extremely rude about it and attempted to use her position to justify her rudeness! I previously have worked for an extremely busy Kinney Drugs in Vermont years ago and it was NEVER appropriate or acceptable for the clerks, technicians, let alone the pharmacist to be rude! Unacceptable!

I've been using this location for years to fill my percriptions. The service is gotten worse, the pharmacy staff is short,curt borderline rude, on more that one occasion they did not refill a script and refused to tell me.so after waiting hours I'm told it wasn't filled, They need a pre-authorization the doctor already called it in, rather then tell me they overlooked it they lied and said the doctor didn't call it in. On another visit for another medication, once again hours of waiting again to find out it wasn't filled no notification same story I called the doctor and again the called in to get the pre authorization I waited three hours went back nothing then once again they lied and said oh it JUST came in 2 min ago..no it didn't its been three hours,so then they say it will be another hour.. I cannot go back until tomorrow so another day without needed meds, I've complained before about the lack of notification and lack of empathy,they just don't seem to care. I like professional looking people and right now it looks like a circus crew, I'm not impressed and will be choosing another place after the third time I'm done.

On March 3rd I visited the Kinney Drugs store on Veteran's lane in Plattsburgh.... Recently my phone had been shut off, the only way to see if my medication was ready was to go there.... Let's just say today, at 11am when I get my medication, the lady best not give me a attitude today..... If so, I feel you cant work when your on the rag, stay the fk home....

I've been with this pharmacy since 2019 and find myself frustrated with almost every visit to their pharmacy. In the last 6 visits, they've either not had the medication I needed or simply forgot to include it in my order. Note that I get my refills through their website so there should be absolutely ZERO confusion. The least they can do is call or email me that there is a problem or a delay, but... NO... they don't. Also note that my prescriptions are the most regularly prescribed out there. Nope... Forgotten or none in stock and NO communication telling me of the problem. On the positive side, the website is OK. You can easily refill your prescriptions. Don't ask me what they do with the order once it's made, but the website is OK.. Also, their window help (I use the drive-thru) is surly, sometimes rude and curt. Never a smile, never a hello. They also look the part. I rarely take exception to retail sales help - it's a rough, thankless job - but these 'folks' go above and beyond the normal pale of being just annoying and I feel their shoddy performance needs to be outed.I previously used 'another' pharmacy. Never a problem.. Always courteous.. Here..... problems from one end of the spectrum to the other. Wish I had better news.~EDIT~ It's now Nov. 2021 and I must say performance has picked up. There appears to be new customer service staff in the pharmacy who actually seem happy to be there, and are prompt and professional. They still fail to notify me that a requested refill made on their website was not included (I've learned to look in the bag before leaving), but once asked, they check my account and claim they've faxed my doc and requested an increase to the number of refills. On talking to my doctor's office, they claim the get lots of such requests and, apparently, some slip through the cracks and are not addressed. Believable, given this COVID world we're living in. So I make the requests directly to my Doc's office and they notify the pharmacy. SUGGESTION: Kinney... Do not allow a customer to request a refill on your website if those refills have expired/been used. Just a thought, and thanks for getting your act together over there.

I don't know where they find the pharmacy staff, but the Germans would have loved this rabble for their camps in the 40's. Surly, rude and just downright unpleasant. I should be more specific. The professional staff - the trained pharmacists - are OK.. It's the customer service stiffs that rate the abuse. Never smile. Never a pleasant word. Worse, I waited 3 weeks for a common prescription and only after I showed up and started asking questions did they tell me that 'Oh, your prescription was dated and we could not fill it'... I was allowed to request it on line and was given no automatic warning. No emails........ No phone calls........ Oh, Wait... YES! I did get emails.... How could I have forgotten??... Big sale on Oreos... That's the emails I get while waiting for a prescription that was never to arrive. Go elsewhere if you can........
