Prices are comparable to any where else. You better know what your looking for before you go because getting professional help there comes up short…….the staff are very courteous and professional I think the issue is that the plattsburgh store go threw a lot of employees. So the experience just isn’t there.

Took about 20 minutes to get the sticker price on a rebate item honored, but a floor employee help Us thru the process otherwise I will have rated my experience as a 2 stars.

If you want to work for the company and cash yourself out this is the place to go absolutely horrible customer service called the corporate number and all they were going to do is push my complaint back to the store the same store that told me corporate is the reason they don't have any cash registers

Friendly service and a big selection. An employee I know says they treat them pretty well there, too, which is a rarity these days.

Really enjoyed the convenience of the online order pickup lockers. I only had to scan a barcode and the appropriate locker opened. It was nice not having to wait for a staff member to assist me.

We went to Lowes in plattsburgh about a week ago. We were looking for closet rods. The entire section was closed off. There was an employee there but he was unwilling to just go and grab 2 poles. We do not live in town and made the trip special just for that. You can restock shelves at night not when people are trying to shop. He made NO effort to assist us. We left and went to wilsons. They were VERY helpful and we now have rods. We also needed to replace our builtin stove top, fan, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Wilsons was very helpful and all our new appliances will be installed tomorrow. Won't we going back to Lowes anytime soon!!

If you're looking for help, especially in the plumbing or electrical sections, do your research before you get there. If you need help getting sheetrock or plywood sheets onto your cart, bring someone or ask. For some reason, today's young employees don't seem to know that standing around talking with your coworkers while people are struggling with 4'×8' sheets of anything is not helpful. I guess they need to be told or asked to help. There are a couple of exceptions.

Ordered refrigerator on 7/24/23 for delivery on 8/11/23. Called on 8/9 and was told refrigerator was there and delivery scheduled for 8/11. 8/10 call from Lowe's frig. not in will be here Fri 8/11. Now I have to reschedule my life for delivery on Saturday 8/12. Customer Service sucks. When you call, they lie and blame on someone else. Never again.... Will call Wilson's appliance from now on.

It's hard to beat the large inventory. But we always find the staff disconnected and unhelpful. Last time we were there we needed help in the flooring department. Repeated calls were made ( at least the staff were eager when it came to asking someone else to help us) for someone to help us, and after 30 minutes, we gave up. It is an affordable option as long as you don't need help.

after buying a $11,300 generator 2 months ago it still hAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED or installed. the following week Lowes offered 24 month no interest. Trying to ask a question , been through 1-customer service, 2- lowes credit services 3- my sales rep , all told me to contact the store. We are an hour away from the store so been trying to call in. Today is my 14th call in 3 days to this store and got through twice on the 13th and 14th try and disconnected . Then finally got through to someone who is suppose to be a manager who answered and said who put you through to me and heard a click. I do not know What type of deal this is but I guess this is what has become of Retail. Lowes integrity is now equal to -0-.

Ordered and paid on-line for a $3000 electric hot water heater. Lowes confirmed purchase and notified me by text that unit was ready for pickup. After driving 70 miles from Montpelier Vermont to Plattsburgh Lowe’s where the unit was located I was told that the sale has been canceled. The electric water heater was still at the store but they said someone else had purchased it. Manager was very defensive, basically saying this was my fault because they had sent me an email canceling the sale about three hours after they sent me a text telling me the unit was ready to be picked up. They told me the payment I made online didn’t matter because it only counted when I got to the store. No offered to help me locate another unit or to get one shipped to me. This was an emergency as I was Trying to restore hot water to my tenants following the flood in Montpelier. Very bad experience. I ended up purchasing a different electric hot water heater at Home Depot in West Lebanon.

Paid for delivery with install and haul away on a stove. They delivered but could not haul away nor install…. So now I am sitting here with two stoves neither working. I am a hard working first responder who relies on the services of others - willing to pay for it, and I do. I have not missed a day of work through covid and this is unacceptable Lowe’s. I will never trust you again.

I needed some stain to match a floor. There are no longer samples with the stain on actual wood like in the "olden days" so it is very difficult to find one that will work. It was a Sunday evening and Tasha was working the paint counter and I can't say enough about how helpful she was. I believe she checked 8 stains before we found one that was close enough to consider. She should be recognized for going way beyond what is typically expected. She was extremely thoughtful and familiar with the products and gave me the impression she was glad to help out. Thank you again Tasha. Just want to be clear, the 5 stars are for Tasha:)
