Expedia.com reserved a National Car Rental for us at Plattsburgh NY for September 5, 2022. At the Plattsburgh Airport, National was closed. All phone calls were sent to voice mail. We were stranded. Expedia's customer service representative had no answers and suggested we take care of it. We found Budget Car Rental open. We had to pay $500+ over the quoted Expedia National contract. We complained using the correct documentation. Expedia did nothing to obtain a reimbursement. We will contract the NY State Attorney.

Jason was phenomenal to deal with. Due to the hours of operation on Saturday I was nervous on booking with National as our flight was arriving after they close. When I called earlier in the week I got to speak to Jason and he calmed my concern. He was willing to come to the airport after the posted hours. This meant so much to me and my husband. We were able to arrive into a more convenient airport because of Jason and his team. Not only was Jason willing to come back to the airport but there was another gentleman Troy that stayed later just to ensure we were able to receive our rental and be on our way.This trip was a special trip for me and my husband. We were doing a family gathering and making donuts. :) Jason and Troy helped make this trip happen with convenience and ease. Thank you both for your kindness and ability to make a trip memorable. No one was at the counter when my flight came it. I was stranded at the airport. National customer service stated they were sorry for the inconvenience.....not a good night
