There is no better place to go if you're thinking about getting into reloading your own ammo. Marvin has the experience, knowledge, and patience to get you started, and most, if not all, the equipment right there . There's never a dumb question when reloading, and Marvin will usually have the answer from his own experiences , or he'll print out the info for you. Mary's also helpful and will get your paperwork done quicker than any other gun and ammo store I've been at in NY state.

Guys, I did not buy a gun but I asked questions. The lady who picked up the phone answered my questions, but she sighed a lot and made me sad.She refused to explain the semi-fire amendment. I’m not a heavy gun enthusiast, but she made me less motivated for sure. ??

I don't know how my original review got rated only one star but Marvin and Mary have run one of the finest businesses in the North County and I go back about 50 yrs. doing business with them. Always polite and wanting to do business with you. They are a 5 Star Business and nothing less!I purchase both my sons' there first .22 rifles from them and I've done a lot of business with them since then. I almost flipped when I saw an earlier review had only one star, these folks are "Top Shelf"!

Marvin and Mary have run probably the busiest little gun shop I've ever seen. Walking in the door for the first time is like going back in time, when small businesses were the heart and soul of our communities. The knowledge that they have is remarkable, and the personal touch they offer is unmatched in the North country. If you try more listening than talking while you browse. I can honestly say that you are going to walk out the door with more knowledge than you walked in with.Keep your friends close,And your powder dry... GH

Hands down the absolute best gun shop in the region. They carry reloading supplies and equipment, very good selection of ammo, new and used firearms. The two owners have more integrity than any gun shop I’ve been to. While others are price gouging during the ammo shortage, they keep the prices fair and honest. They go out of their way to help you or advise you when it comes to reloading. When buying a manual just last week that I could only find for hundreds of dollars on-line (usually out of stock), I went to Vanns. They had the latest edition and sold it for less than the websites msrp. They have my full patronage. Any time I need anything firearm related, I will check Vanns first.
