Hours: Yando's Big M Supermarket is a nice market and a convenient local business that is nearby and close to home for many, including seniors who live a block away. It is a clean and tidy convenience grocery store. The stock is great and the selection is great, with things that cannot be found at other supermarkets. The staff are friendly, super helpful, and awesome, with service with a smile being their motto. They are very receptive to requests, will order something if they don't have it, and will search in their freezer or a delivery. They work hard and show a level of kindness that is sorely lacking elsewhere. However, their prices are higher than most places locally and are getting ridiculous, with a significant mark-up compared to other stores. This is strange considering the lower-income area. Some note that for the prices they charge, the service could be friendlier, as it runs the gamut from excellent to surly. They do have some good deals sometimes, especially on meat about to expire. While many love the store and find it lucky to have nearby, the high prices are a consistent concern.
