I want to thank you, after speaking with you this morning and directing me to contact and visit Sojo Industries to fix the minor/major problem with my pellet stove speaks volume. For the simplest part to keep the stove running which is 25 years old and has been rebuilt by myself and my father who has passed on, instead of buying a new pellet stove that I was told by other places.I thank you for your honesty and will be going to Sojo Industries for other needs and if I should require another stove you will be the first I contact.I don’t normal write a review but felt that this was needed and worthy.Thank you…

Great group of people working here. Helped me every step of the way through the buying and installing process. Couldn’t say enough good things about this company. Best part was they don’t forget their customers after receiving your money like some places. They were just as helpful answering my questions a few months after purchasing the unit as they were the day I walked in. Would recommend them to all family and friends.

I went to heat survival because my masonry chimney required a liner, the clay flu tile was damaged, and I wanted to speak with someone / examine stove components in person. The Team at Heat Survival was informed and helpful. They assisted me in selecting the components I needed to connect my Yodel 602 wood stove. They came up with an excellent and economical solution. I'm also happy to have a local store knowledgeable in wood stoves. Thanks

No STARS! Worst customer service! I get it is the busy season for this business, however, I went into the store and was sent away with instructions to send an email back, which then it took them a week to respond. My quote included "gas fireplace" installation, when i order wood... as well as that the unit would stick out into the room 6-10 inches, even though they did not measure the spacing of the box and column on the outside to the house. When the owner stated "what is your problem" over my confusion...i knew shopping local was a mistake in this case. The owner stated its hard to keep up because they get 50 emails a day....really? Perhaps a solution would be to address customers when they arrive at your store, instead of sending customers home with instructions to send an email!!!!Left out in the cold by this "local" business!!!

Went in to purchase a part to repair my Jotul wood stove. Staff were attentive, professional, personable, and courteous. They were easily able to identify and locate the special order part that I needed. During the process, it was determined that my stove was still under warranty and Russ made the warranty process easy and stressless getting my stove back up and running in a timely manner.

They are rude people. Not sure about all the other reviews but I had two bad experiences with them.1. They are overpriced and no way close in their customer service to the previous owner. Vermont castings encore classic wood stove is 3900$ in their store. other dealers have it for 3600$for piping and installation, they won't come to your house and measure the piping length that is needed. they tell you; we are too busy send us pictures and we will determine the piping. seriously??2. they were extremely rude to my wife. my wife went to their store to buy woodstove paint. She was totally ignored by two workers who work in the store. When finally, she got someone to help her, the told her you need to finish this fast and get your car out of our driveway. you are blocking it. My told him, no I am not I parked legally in an assigned parking space that is for cars to park. Then they turned to my 6 years old who tried to close one of their woodstoves doors that was open. they screamed at her do not touch the woodstoves. My wife told him she is only closing the door. the reply was. let's just imagine that all the stoves are hot and can burn your child. what an answer is that.they told my wife get out; we do not want your business. My wife sat in the car, one of the kids had a little rock in her hand. My wife took the rock and put back in their driveway. they screamed at her and cursed her like she was a street woman and said they will call the cops that a 3-year-old girl is throwing rocks on them.it is a lie. they just through the rock where it belongs. here is the good part, When I called him and asked about why he mistreated my wife, he told me it was not only me it was a bunch of us. they bullied a young woman with three kids, and they are proud of it. I imagine if it was me 6.3 tall guy, they won't dare to do a thing. that is called chicken. I told him that you lost a customer, I was ordering 3900$ woodstove from him, He said fine whatever, I told him you will get a bad review and answered I don't care.I ended buying today a woodstove from Newtown CT. New Milford. CT ALSO ANOTHER DEALER, Ulster County in Kingston, NY has another dealer. Middletown and Westchester er county has dealers for woodstoves. Check others before you go to their storein brief, very inhuman and low class poeple who over charge you for their wood stoves. I wish the old owner is still there. He was gentlemen and human

I purchased my stove in 2019. The home I purchased had a existing pellet stove i knew nothing about. I found a tech that was willing to assist me, and get the stove operational. When that stove broke down, the parts were no longer available, and the tech suggested Heat Survival. They assisted me picking out the best stove for my home, and directed me to a stove within my budget. Following their suggestions, i was able to keep the stove in good operation for three seasons. When the stove broke down, they had parts available, and assisted me diagnosing the problem throughout the whole process. I was ready to replace an expensive motor that was in working order. Luckily their diagnosis saved me hundreds of dollars, and identify the cheaper part i truely needed.They did suggest I go to a closer shop to my house to save me the 50 minute ride to their store. I did contact the other shop, but they couldn't get the part for a full month. Mike from Heat Survival got my stove working and house warm again in under a day. If you are in the market for a stove, or are having difficulty getting your stove running, stop by and check them out.

I had a very specific issue associated to a part on my control bd. of my Mt. Vernon Pellet stove which left my stove inoperable. I took everything apart and needed a replacement part quickly which I couldn't find anywhere. When I called Heat Survival, Russ was very willing to share information, extremely knowledgeable about my issue and did everything he could to locate the part I needed. Once he found it in his inventory, he called me back on my personnel cell and told me to come and get it. Russ was a gentleman throughout the process and really went out of his way to ensure I got up and running asap. It was refreshing to experience a high level of customer service and professional interaction. The stove is running great and will definately make Heat Survival my first call for any of my pellet stove needs. Great Job!!

Great company to do business with. Called them with a blind request for a blower control for my Quadrafire Yosemite wood stove. They knew exactly what I was looking for. Assured me that they would get the right part. Placed order and in less than 2 weeks had the part. Picked it up, easy install and works perfectly. Will definitely do business with them again. Knowledgeable, courteous, professional staff. Next wood stove comes from them!!!

Needed to purchase a replacement part for my woodstove and thankfully they had it in stock. New ownership since my original purchase. Happy with the customer service I received and the price was consistent with my internet searches. Glad I was able to spend my money locally.

Extremely rude and egotistical! Don't expect to get top notch customer service unless you're walking in with your EF Hutton broker and Hermès bag.
