Hi, so I’ve never really left a negative review on any business until today. I’ve been part of the Westchester community, I coach soccer and been to many gyms in the Westchester area! With that said, here’s my review about this gym…
Jessica the manager is amazing! She’s very helpful and does her best to explain whatever sticky situation you’re in with this business! I say business because i completely understand the aspect of it but this gym are in it for the money. My membership is $54 and i don’t mind paying for it but it becomes ridiculous when they hit you with late fees and you explain why and they don’t even try to refund you. Twice I’ve had to change my card because of fraud not by them but by something else which then on one occasion they said it was late when i was trying to pay the day off. They did wave the late fee but today, April 15, i spoke to Jessica and she told be this is the 3rd and this time she couldn’t do anything. Apperantly my card got declined on the 13th but didn’t on the 15th? Seems very strange and i got hit with a $20 penalty.
I also recommended my brother to this gym which he goes but the referral won’t get added to your last month of your contract so don’t expect to get a free month of membership until then. They also have you sign a contract for 2 years i believe and they auto renew without explaining it and going into detail. I saw a review just now from a person who says this is illegal. Is it? I don’t know but you can do your own research! Also, if you want to freeze your account for let’s say 2 months you can with no charge but then they extend your contract for 2 months so please be aware of that.
It’s a small gym and there’s been a few times where machines have been broken but again, what can you expect from a business who’s just in it for the money!! All in all i would never ever recommend this gym to anyone else. This review is my own personal opinion and my experience with Anytime Fitness gym! My record shows how many times I’ve never been late with paying my membership but they can’t help you and wave a simple $20 late fee. I hope someone does read this long review and who knows, they may take it down but i hope this is helpful to someone! Thank you!!

i had this amazing experience with a person over there named john and i am so glad i signed up i love the gym and will keep going nice clean and sanitary it is also very quite at night when other gyms are packed i can get a nice workout in without having to worry.

Horrible gym, the owners are thieving liars. They make you sign a contract and tell you to put your initial on every page. But they don’t make it known to you that one of the lines is for the contract to automatically renew once your 2 year period is over. Which is illegal by the way. (NYS LAW SECTION 527-A, chapter 20, article 29-BB)

Anytime Fitness in Pleasantville is my favorite location. I highly recommend this gym.They are open 24 hours, the facility is clean and they offer great classes. Way more affordable than my last gym for sure!

Beautiful gym. All the equipment you need. Friendly environment. People clean up after themselves. Had to rack weights that people left out against the wall but what gym doesn’t have people like that?Other than that, I wish they had a second squat rack instead of other equipment that nobody uses.

Extremely small gym. Not worth paying that price. I got in the contract for 2 years so I could get the discount for $50 a month. I found out my work place has a gym, I tried canceling my membership but they did not allow me, and stated I had to pay %60 percent of whole payment upfront.... I just had the membership while did not utilize it.Extremely expensive....
