Every single person that works at Pleasantville Animal Hospital is amazing. From the front desk staff to both doctors they are caring, compassionate people. I recommend this vet over any other one in the area. Thank you Pleasantville Animal Hospital for always taking care of my dog!

We have been taking our dog to PAH for years. The vets and staff are always welcoming and show great care. We recently added a new dog to our family, and it was very easy to get an appointment for a check up and to discuss any concerns we had.

We have been with Pleasantville Animal Hospital for three years. We are happy with all of the doctors and staff. Everyone is friendly and professional. Our dog, Snow, is always made comfortable before going to his appointments. PAH sends us appointment reminders and has an online portal.

Pleasantville Animal Hospital refuses to take accountability for multiple errors and negligence on their part while my precious kitten was in their care. After receiving a reasonable quote for her spay, I went ahead and made the pre op appointment for the following week. The original vet I saw was so kind, calming, and sweet and one of the factors leading to choosing them to complete the procedure. However, I ended up never seeing her again and almost every visit, I dealt with a different doctor. They completed her spay within the following weeks, I was presented with a bill $200 OVER the original price quoted. The receptionists couldn’t be more abrupt, and disinterested in me. At payment, they admitted that they quoted the WRONG procedure (a neuter, for males). They refused to honor the price they originally quoted. In the moment, I just wanted to get my kitten home as she was in extreme distress from heavily bleeding from where they had her IV. This was something I knew was NOT normal. My kitten went on to have a reaction to the only medication that was sent home with me, gabapentin.Aside from being extremely disorganized, and not able to communicate clearly and effectively; The owner couldn’t be more unsympathetic or impersonal. He lacks the empathy a vet SHOULD have. The owner was dismissive, accusatory, and failed to provide an appropriate follow up care as he only looked at her for a second or two.I expected a high level of care from this animal hospital, especially because I entrusted them with my kittens health. They gave me a false impression of how they care for animals and their clients probably just so I would schedule with them. It is imperative that a veterinarian’s team respects their clients and provides the best level of care. In the end, my kitten and I suffered unnecessarily. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for an actual compassionate and competent veterinary services rather than just a facade.

We moved back to Yonkers recently and we hadn’t yet been able to set up our dog with a new veterinarian. They were able to see my dog right away after I had called 10+ veterinary’s and because we haven’t already been there they weren’t able to see my dog for a week, we were extremely grateful. They provided excellent service. Dr Joy Cohen was caring and provided ample information about how my dog got sick. The office is also very nice and clean. I will definitely keep bringing our dog here.

We LOVE PAH! Dr. Sabatini and his staff are so welcoming and accommodating. The new office is immaculate. We use PAH for regular vet visits, grooming/nails and also for boarding. I have called late night with concerns and always been treated with patience. I won’t leave my pup anywhere else, or even try another vet, as they have my full trust here!

The new facility is so clean and modern. The staff is extremely caring and patient. But most of all - when we bring our Coton to Dr. Sabatini we always leave the office knowing that we've done the very best for our much loved dog. They smoothly handle all paperwork and appointments. Emma took plenty of time going over all of the information we needed to care for IZZY following his neutering. That meant a lot to us.We've had 4 dogs over the years... and of course different vets, as we previously lived in Manhattan. But my wife and I both feel that Dr. Sabatini is the best!

We love Dr. Sabatini and his staff! They are very caring, loving and patient. We have been bringing our two dogs there for many years. Dr. Sabatini is always available to answer any of your questions or concerns. We always recommend PAH to friends who are looking for a vet. New office is beautiful!

This place is AWESOME! From the beautiful office with lovely receptionists to the compassionate technicians and the vet, Dr. Sabatini, this place is truly wonderful. We brought a very sick, very underweight leopard gecko to be checked out, and Dr. Sabatini was incredibly helpful. He had extensive knowledge about gecko husbandry and patiently answered every single one of my questions (and I had a lot). He gave me suggestions not only for treatment, but also for her habitat and lighting. Dr. Sabatini demonstrated how to feed her and helped remove her shed and mucus that had accumulated in her eyes. I was very worried that I was going to get terrible news, and he made me feel much more hopeful about her prognosis and I appreciated the time he spent with us.The vet technicians were very kind and gentle and also had experience with leopard geckos that helped abate my anxiety. The office space is stunning with a large salt water tank that definitely helped me be slightly less tense. The receptionists were very warm and understanding about my nervousness and I appreciated their compassion.I could not recommend this place more highly.

I’ve taken my dog to PAH for 7 years. He started developing some skin issues which we tried to resolve with the aid of PAH and a dermatologist specialist in the area. All to no avail. My dog had diabetes which had not been picked up and then he developed pancreatitis from which he ultimately died. I’m not going to lay blame on PAH for this however after my dog had passed, I did call PAH to let them know he had died. I did not receive a simple courtesy call back to ask what happened or anything. Extremely disappointing and in hindsight indicative of their bed side manner regarding your pet. Honestly look elsewhere. I’m very disappointed in their lack of compassion towards our pet at this time.

It was a little difficult finding the building as there was no sign on the outside of the hospital . The interior of the Pleasantville Animal Hospital was neat and clean. Loved the fish tank. Vet was excellent.

We often use PAH not only as our vet but to board our dog as well. They are so accommodating and when our pup has to be boarded they give me detailed updates when I call to check how she is doing. I feel confident leaving her with PAH. In terms of vet care, they are honest and open and really care about our pup and give me so much info. Highly recommend PAH! Been so helpful with my first ever dog.
