“Family Veterinary Care of Ossining is the best veterinary practice around. I have had a handful of vets over the years in Westchester and none of them come close to the amazing Dr. Klainbard and his superstar team. Dr. Klainbard is incredibly thoughtful, compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. He is an exceptionally nimble and resourceful thinker, always finding creative solutions and avenues of exploration to define and resolve very nuanced issues related to my complicated pug. All the Vet Techs are so kind and knowledgeable as well, and everyone at the front desk echoes the same vibe. Lisa and Evan are always super accommodating and sweet, unflappable in the roles. It’s hard to add to the existing 251 5-star Google reviews across the board, but why not make it 252. Family Veterinary Care of Ossining is the best - they literally treat you like family.”

Dr. Weisenfeld, vet techs Cheryl and Maria, plus both Shayna's at the front desk and the entire back office staff...really everyone - the amount of care and love they gave our dogs during their lifetimes was unmatched.Most recently, they cared for our dog Lyla in her final days, helping us navigate heartbreaking decisions with care and confidence. Our dogs loved coming here to board and for vet care, literally bounding out of the car when they realized where they were. They both lived long and healthy lives thanks to the fantastic case they received at Yorktown. When we are ready to bring another dog into our home, we will absolutely be clients of Yorktown again.”

In this age of veterinary practices being taken over by big corporates, it's so nice to still have doctors like Dr. Lovisa who takes the time to personally connect with her patients and genuinely care about the animals.Multiple times she offered treatment, and recommended specialized diet based on newest research which resulted in significant improvement in my dogs' quality of life.During an emergency, I was able to reach her and ask for advice. She was the only one I trusted with my dogs and as always, she came through for us. Even afterwards, she took the time to write me few emails and even a personal note after the passing of one of my dogs. He was always very kind and gentle.Now that I’m an adult, I also bring my dogs to NRAC. We used to see Dr. Gardner until he retired, and now we see Dr. Antiaris and Dr. Reddy. They’re both lovely. We have an older dog (also adopted from the SPCA Westchester in 2011) and the staff was careful to make sure that the two dogs were compatible. We were able to leave with out new puppy the same day. “I have been taking my pets here since I was a kid, and they've always been immensely kind, caring, and gracious in listening as well as explaining any questions or illnesses my pets have had. I went in today for a follow-up with one of my kitties who had to be rushed to the emergency vet over the weekend. (He's okay, no worries!) I felt terrible because the clinic is always so busy, but Dr. Janice not only listened to my kitty's unfun weekend story, looked at his records from the emergency vet, but also asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. I was worried something would be wrong still, but Dr. Janice checked him over thoroughly and happily reported he's much improved and will be fine—even writing down specific instructions for me in his medicine adjustments and other necessary supplements. This is the only place I'll ever take my cats, and this is absolutely why. So, so grateful, thank you.”

The level of professional care is exceptional. When my pup fell ill, Dr. Patel personally called me with the analysis results and has consistently been available when needed. “I never leave reviews but given my history with losing my rabbit in a neuter surgery, I was hesistant to have my new rabbit get spayed. I went to this vet for the surgery and I an so happy I did. You can definitely trust this place with your pet. They are very informative, gentle, and kind. They are thorough with their work and they care about the animals. I brought my rabbit in for a spay and they did a fantastic job. She is healing super quickly and healthy. 100/10 - I highly recommend.”
